It seems I have to update an old review since after today I will not be visiting again and therefore will not be prompted as a local guide to leave a new review! Let me holla at y'all for a minute. My mother was grossly mistreated by the OWNER HERSELF. Being in the industry for a while I am thoroughly aggravated upon hearing this. All she asked was for her nasty trash bucket omlette to be taken off the bill. She didn't get spicy she was perfectly polite. These folks refused and insisted on a remake. Mom had no qualms! Ok make it again we'll see! But now it's under done! So the owner points at her like a witch and attempts to humiliate her by raising her voice so that the entire restaurant can hear.. demanding that it be paid for whether it's correct or not. Before mom can take a picture as proof, the owner throws it out. That's strange LOL if you say it's fine the way it is why can't she take a picture for opinions at home or online? I don't know who you are what ya look like but ya need to stay at home and let your staff make business for you cuz CLEARLY the hormonal outrage, grandiose sense of self... uhh the weather breaking whatever you got going on.. is not sitting with you well. Don't do my Mom. Ever. You get 1 star for the food being slaps 99% of the time but your attitude is a HOT zero. As the OWNER you should put on your best face even with the most onery of customers, which my mother was not! So Try again baby! I will likely be banned for this but hopefully Facebook is responsible enough to leave honest reviews alone, not to be removed.. Any respectable business would take an improperly prepared item off the bill no questions asked. The issue shouldn't even reach the owner. That's what leadership roles are for.. being the oWnEr doesn't mean jack lil lady. She can holler at me all day about a trash omlette cuz I'm the right one... but not Tracey. This is not the first timeeeee something has ever been sent back to your lil kitchen so stop playing games. If it's booty, you can send it back full refund. Going out for a simple breakfast should be pleasant, not a losing gamble. How she didn't think to perhaps have this conversation with her cooks instead about any of this is beyond me. We understand mistakes happen we're not tripping about that.. but we shouldn't have crooked appendages in our face forcing us to pay cafe prices for fast food order mistakes! This isn't first complaint I've heard of this mysterious owner either! So now I'm extraaa hecky mad that aNOTHER maternal figure of mine has been disrespected here too. Something about that plaza and stank attitudes LoL don't get me started about the rest. How do you ruin Sunday? How does Sunday ruin you? Stay hoooome! You're literally doing Shelby a disservice. And honest to God since you like to revisit ugly behavior so frequently.. it'd be smarter on your part to conceal your professional title. Read moreThe ABSOLUTE WORST!! This restaurant gave me the worst dining experience I've ever had. The wait staff, manager and owner were so rude to me I left with tears in my eyes. I've frequented this restaurant several times over the years, and this particular experience occurred on my third visit within one week. The food is decent and the location is close to home. The issue I have is that the silverware is always dirty. When I say dirty, I mean someone's left over meal is still visible on a fork, so I often ask for plastic ware. The wait staff has always accommodated me with this request with no problems. So, I went in, ordered my regular and got a waitress I'd never had. I had tried two sets of silverware, both dirty, so I asked for plastic ware. She said she couldn't give it to me. I explained that I have always gotten plastic ware and I know they have it, so she rolled her eyes at me and walked away. I saw her walk over to several employees and express her disdain for my asking for plastic ware, then she walked over to the manager. I had ordered $15 worth of breakfast food and my food was sitting on the table. A short time later the manager came over and asked if he could help me. I asked for the plastic ware and he stated, "I'm not giving you plastic ware." No explanation, no kind words, no apology for the dirty silverware. He was willing to let a regular customer leave with $15 worth of food on the table, because he would not give me anything clean to eat it with. So I asked who the owner was. He told me the owner was not in and I asked for a business card with the owner's contact information. He gave me a business card and I walked out and called the number, which of course was the restaurant's number. The manager answered and I asked when the owner would be in. He tells me, "the owner is busy right now." So, the owner was there the entire time. So, I walk back into the restaurant and tell the manager I need to speak with the owner. He tells me, "I told you before that he's busy." I asked him if he let the owner know there was a customer waiting to speak with him and he told me no. So, I said I'd wait. After 10 minutes, the owner starts to walk over to me with the most disinterested, unconcerned flat look on his face, and I began to tell him what happened. He offered no apology, no nothing, just said, "Well, if he (the manager) said he's not giving you plastic ware, then that's what it is." That was it. NOTHING else offered for a regular customer. The wholesale cost for a set of plastic ware is probably 10 cents. But, they were willing to allow a regular to leave $15 worth of food on the table and never return. I could not believe the rude and nasty treatment I received for no reason at all. I will never return, nor will any of my friends, family or anyone who finds out just how disgusting...
Read moreWow!!!!! My hubby and I ate breakfast here for the very first time on Sunday Feb 26, 2024. We found the place very busy and very cute inside. Being a Sunday morning about 9:30 we did have a wait which was expected but it wasn’t that long. Maybe 15 min. No worries!! They were fully staffed and the place was hopping!!! Our waitress was fantastic. I didn’t get her name but she was very kind and on top of it!! She told us she’s worked there 6 years. Anyway, the menu looked so delicious with many choices. For it being a pancake house I was very surprised to see a bit of everything on the menu. Not only pancakes. Even had some lunch items! There are a few items that take 25 min longer to make but it states that right on the menu where those items are listed so it’s good info to be aware of ahead of time if you’re ordering those items. We place our order and enjoy our coffee while we wait. An average wait I’d say and it was extremely busy. My husband ordered the German pancake with lemon. He loves trying new things and also loves anything lemon so this for him was ideal lol. I ordered the potato pancakes which are my absolute favorite!! And a sirloin patty on the side. Food comes and my mouth immediately drops to the floor. The German pancake could have fed 2-3 people very easily!! It was very unique and our table neighbors even commented how awesome it looked!! The potato pancakes were an entire plateful and also could have been shared!! The food was extremely good!!! Probably my top 2 for potato pancakes. My husband loved his German pancake and said he would definitely get it again. The prices seemed a bit more then usual for breakfast in our opinion but definitely worth it and not something that would prevent us from going again! You do get what you pay for here!!!! My only negative was that the sirloin patty I ordered was $7.95 alone and we thought that was pretty high for a single sirloin patty. But it is what it is and I probably wouldn’t order it again and spend more on those incredible pancakes!!!!
