National Coney Island - Shelby Township — Restaurant in Shelby Charter Township

I would leave a zero if I could. I’ve gotten carry outs from this location many times and every single time the order is messed up or something is missing. But after my latest experience I will never return. Part of my order contained a Hani with grilled chicken. First off the amount of chicken used is less and less every time. Todays sandwich contained an all time low of 1 and half of strips on one half and 2 strips in the other. After my first bite I noticed something was funky. I opened the sandwich for further inspection and noticed the chicken didn’t look cooked all the way through. There were discolored gooey portions that looked raw. It was disgusting. I’m not in the habit of leaving reviews but this food was uneatable. And for what they charge now this is unacceptable. There has to be some kind of standard. I give a 0 out of 10. I called to get a carry out order on my lunch break. I ordered a chicken gyro, with EXTRA gyro sauce in the side to dip.. I drive 7 miles to go pick it up, even tipped the girls $2.00 which most people don't even do with carry out.. When I returned back to work to eat my food, I look at the gyro and realize that its missing not only the sauce on the gyro, but also was missing the sauce for the side. I get the gyro specifically for the cucumber sauce.. I called them to tell them to have it ready for me to come all the way back and pick it up.. didn't receive a sorry on the phone or anything.. And then when I got there to pick it up, the lady at the counter rudely slammed the sauce in front of me, and said have a nice day. No sorry or anything. ITS YOUR FAULT NOT MINE! Ive waitressed, its not that hard to make sure someones order has the sauce they asked for and is actually supposed to come with in the first place. Extremely disappointed by my type of service I experienced this weekend. We visit this location usually every other week. Typically I’m a SW Hani type of gal but I was craving some soup this time around. I noticed something in my soup towards the end and when I brought it up to my server Lena she said it definitely rice. She didn’t event really look at it. I just wanted something else to eat but she didn’t offer anything nor was it removed from the bill.

I was disgusted because I know in fact upon inspection it was certainly a bug. It had little legs on it. We will continue to minimally frequent this restaurant, but will avoid the soup and be cautious of the rest of the items. Definitely disappointed with the way it...
