Was not happy to find a piece of metal wire in my chicken shwarma. Looks like a bristle from cleaning the grill and I'm grossed out! I don't like leaving a bad review especially for a new business, but it's a pretty big piece and disgusting to think I may have eaten more. The meat on the Shawarma fries was inedible and tough to even chew. Salad dressing had no flavor, tasted like just olive oil. Very disappointed!

The plate is ours. I don't eat out of carry-out containers and was sharing with my husband so I used my own plate. I still have your containers with what we didn't eat still in them. Read moreI’ve been here 3 times and I’m not in a rush to go back unfortunately. First time was excellent great tasting and I bragged about it to friends and family. They ended up ordering a catering order the next week and it was not ready until half an hour after the schedule time for pickup. Everyone who works here is really nice so I will give them that.
Now for my last order. I ordered online two bowls with 2 types of meat. Each one was $21. I got to the place 25 minutes after ordering. When I got there I told them my name and waited. I watched about 8 people working but none of them were on the same page. After about 15 minutes they gave me my order. It’s now been 40 minutes since I ordered. I got home and both bowls are made exactly the same way even though they were ordered with completely different items on them.
I called to let them know they made a mistake and I was told we can remake it for you. Considering I had already waited 40 minutes and I know when I got back it probably wouldn’t be ready based on past experiences I asked for a refund for the bowl that was made incorrectly. Told no manager on duty to issue that and they would call me to refund me. Never heard back so I called two days later. Still no manager and I never got a call back.
I want this place to succeed but to wait so long for a Mediterranean Chipotle type place and have it be completely incorrect is unacceptable at...
Read moreIf I could leave this place 0 stars I would. I’ve been a loyal customer of House of Hummus for a while but after my most recent experience, I’m extremely disappointed. I called to express concern over the poor quality of the hummus I received it was drenched in oil and the portion was shockingly small for the $10 I paid. This was not at all in line with the quality I’ve consistently received in the past.
Instead of taking my feedback seriously, the staff questioned whether I had eaten any of it (I had only tasted it) and told me that unless I hadn’t touched it and could provide a photo, there was nothing they could do. They claimed “this is how we always make our hummus” and “that’s how much we always put in a to-go container,” essentially dismissing my concerns entirely.
This response felt incredibly unprofessional and dismissive, especially for a repeat customer simply trying to offer honest feedback. I wasn’t demanding a refund, just looking for accountability or at least a willingness to acknowledge something may have gone wrong. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning after this experience.
