First of all this location charges more than other locations. Next, one day I stopped there even though I try not to and my coffee tasted so bad so I went back through the drive thru, apologized and just told them what is going on and the young lady took a while to come to a decision (when it’s an easy problem to solve) and told me she would remake my drink only if I give the old one back (weird because no other coffee shops make me do that but okay) the next coffee she had me try it there with her and it still tasted weird but I wasn’t going to have her make it a third time but I did tell her it did still taste off. She was clearly frustrated and told me that was how she made the last drink and the new one. I get the same drink often and it never tastes that bad. I drank maybe half or less of it before I started to not feel great, won’t get into tmi details. The popular Old Fashioned Cake donuts still tasted fine, but the texture was totally different. The bottom/outside was crispy, and only the top/inside of the donut was cake-like. They still tasted fine though. But the hot chocolate was different too, and that didn’t taste good like the donuts even though those were different. I’m not sure how to describe it, but it was much sweeter and less chocolatey than other DD. Maybe they use too much milk or whatever liquid they use, and less Chocolate mix. I don’t know what it is. But this is very different than the DD in East Lansing and I know it’s not because of the EL location being different. On multiple occasions now they have misheard something that I ordered & then proceed to tell me at the window that I "didn't order that" or ordered it wrong ? She then just tells me the total and takes the drink back, hands me the food items and other drinks, I've very kindly said Thank You about 10 times now and she along with the older woman who is now at the window just ignore me, no you're welcome or smile, no have a nice day. They just waited there for the next car now.
It's not hard to literally type in a menu item that has no modifications. I'm not being difficult here. Stop blaming the customer and take accountability as an employee and face of the business.
