First of all let me start by saying that we had been there a week before and the tacos were good so naturally we decided to go eat after a high graduation and tacos sounded great . We called and made a reservation for 25 people. They said no problem. Five different families decided to come celebrate. We sit down and right away they bring us water . 15 mins go by and I ask if we can order drinks and they said in 10 mins . Ok it was alil packed and we are a big group so totally understandable. We order drinks after 30 mins . The server says that they could only do 3 checks . We explain that we are 5 families and we need 5 checks . The server talks to the manager and she says ok we will do 5 separate checks by family . Great! We ask if we can order food , they say no sorry the kitchen is really slammed . Again ok fine. We wait another 25 mins . They take our orders and I tell her to do it by families and she says no we will take care of that at the end . I’ll do it by seats . We order food and when it came out it was not good . Dry , no flavor, it was like reheated microwaved and just a total let down . Still we were trying to make a great night out of it . We ordered more drinks and refills ( which were free last week but not this week) . Some came some didn’t. I’m still waiting on the corona. lol No refills on chips either. Then we asked for the bill and she says she can’t divide it by families that she has to divide it 5 ways . My family was 3 people and some families were 6 . I said no that’s not what we talked about many times . The manager came out and said it was store policy . I said you should have said that when we asked . We even explained in the beginning that we were 5 separate families with separate checks . Finally I tell him I’m paying for my food and my drinks only . He gives me the bill and tells me to separate it . Which we did and still paid 20% . But the manager said we can never do it again. I said don’t worry we will never go back . The food was gross . Never again. We were there another hr after we ate trying to deal with the manager and the checks . Don’t waste your time and money . Much better...

Visited Raice’s yesterday and met a friend for early dinner. We got there during happy hour and the house margaritas were two dollars off. Of course, we had to start with one of those. The glasses were tall, it was a nice portion. The margaritas were delicious. Over the rocks, not frozen. Exactly how I like them. The chips come with a fleet of salsas. There were three of them. The mild sauce was really good and the green salsa was spicy and delicious. Supposedly Raices is known for their guacamole so of course we had to order one of those. Correction, we actually ordered two because we wiped the first one out so fast. It was really good. We split a chicken fajita and there was more than enough for both of us and we actually took three take out containers home with us. Lots of food and it was delicious. Our waitress was attentive, polite, but gave us time to enjoy our company and didn’t intrude. The only semi-Eyebrow raising thing was the busboy who dumped a water glass all over our table And just stood there while my friend and I tried to mop it up with non-absorbent polyester napkins. He mumbled something like “cool” and walked away. I thought he was gonna bring us more napkins, but no, he was done and he just walked away. Later, he took just one of our takeout container while we were still sitting at our table and he threw it away. Our waitress did replace that, but it was very unusual. I will mention that there was entertainment later during the dinner service. The singer started out playing violin and he had recorded back up music. At some point he started roving around the restaurants singing. He was very talented, his voice was beautiful, and it really added to the ambience of the...

Sunday July 13, 2025, 5 pm:

First, the food: absolutely FANTASTIC. Our group ordered fajitas, burritos, and quesadillas. Everything was delicious. The chips and salsa were great, with three types of salsa. The drinks are HUGE so bring a designated driver.

What could possibly be the reason I'm not coming back?

The service was SO SLOW. Ridiculously slow. And there were a lot of staff. It took forever to get more chips and salsa, to take our order, or get our food.

The wooden, high backed seats were elaborately painted and very very VERY pretty. But they were hard and painful. Cushions would have been nice. FWIW our party ranged in sizes from 6'4 inches to under 5 feet, from plump to thin. My back hurt after a while.

And it was so HOT. There were large vents on the ceiling everywhere and no air was coming out of them. We had to leave our party early because we were sweaty and miserable.

So this is our experience in a nutshell. This restaurant has so much potential. My GOSH the FOOD! But they need to find ways to make the beautiful chairs ergonomic, train their staff better and use the vents. If you want amazing food this is the place to be. But...

Tried the 10 pack of tacos and chose the al pastor, chorizo, carnitas and asada. The al pastor was by far the best one! So full of flavor! The chorizo had a good flavor but was a bit salty, however we only had one of those so no big deal. Carnitas and asada were great as well. Also tried the raíces fresca margarita with a tajin rim and it was a bit pricey but had a very unique flavor, almost like a mix of a mojito and a marg. The salsas that came with the chips in the beginning were not photographed but were all very good as well. The service was great and quick, all of the staff were very friendly and everything seems to be running very well, especially for a restaurant that just opened up! Well decorated atmosphere as well! I’m excited to come back and try more from the menu
