I am changing my previous review.
In the past few months, I have noticed a decline in the quality of both food and service at Chickfilas.
I am always pushed for time, and for the last many, many years I have always been able to count on CFA getting it right. I have always grabbed my food and left, and it has always been quick and correct. Not any more.
I visited the Longview, NC store. My food was cold. So, I wrote that location off my list.
Today, I visited the Cleveland Mall location. As always, I had places to be. I ordered a spicy chicken club with no tomatoes or lettuce extra bacon, a small lemonade no ice, and a cup of coffee. They got the coffee right. I was already on the road, and even more behind, after waiting nearly 20 minutes for my food before I noticed. Sandwich had lettuce and tomato, and no bacon. Lemonade had ice.
28 years ago, I worked at this very location. Messing everything up would not have been tolerated.
I supposed the "My pleasure" I got from the guy who brought it to the truck meant, "It was my pleasure to screw you over."
I suppose from now on, I will grab a gas station hot dog when I'm in a hurry.

Read moreHorrible experience, I ordered a whole bunch of items from this chic fil a. When I arrived at my residence, I opened my 12 count nugget and there was a long piece of hair on my nuggets. I drove back to the chic fil a, which was 20 min away from home to get a new order because I felt uncomfortable eating all the rest of the food in the bag. I asked them to remake my order and both of the managers said they could only make me new nugget’s because that is the only thing that had hair in it. As a customer i would have liked to them to make me a whole new meal because now my other food was cold because I had to drive back. Sense they could not make me a new order after asking for new food or a gift card, they said that they only could give me a refund and that the refund would take 24-48 hours to get back into my account. Finding a hair in your food is horrible especially if it is not yours. I just feel like chic fil a could have done better than just giving me a refund especially because i drove 20 minutes back to get new food that they...
Read moreDrive-thru was slow and felt disorganized; I watched most of the line get their food before the car at the front got theirs, which ended up causing a substantial traffic jam. Everyone was also politely asked to inch as close as possible to the car in front of them to mitigate the amount of traffic backing up onto the street, which prevented me from making my escape when I inevitably got my food before the car in front of me got theirs. Ordinarily this wouldn't be a big deal, but I've come to expect better from Chick-fil-A, as they've generally led the way in making their consistently-clogged drive-thrus operate as efficiently as possible.
Finding the place to begin with is an adventure; although it's only a few hundred yards from the highway as the crow flies, it feels much farther away due to the odd layout of the mall's parking lot as well as the strange placement of the "drive-thru" at the back.
The food itself was fine, but I miss being able to order non-spicy chicken strips.
