Wings Etc. — Restaurant in Shelby

First impression started of wrong the hostess looked pissed as soon as we seen her. She sat us and we asked for a high chair and a booster seat since we have 2 small kids, she gave us 2 boosters and we asked if she had a high chair since we have a one year old and she looked at us like she hated us and said she would check never heard from her again. We ordered water and milk for the kids after about 8 minutes of not getting our drink I got up and asked someone about it, finally manager comes out and tells us it's a typo on the menu they don't have milk, took 10 minutes to get our drinks because no one cared to tell us they didn't have milk. Also while up I seen the high chairs so guess the hostess didn't care to come back and tell us. Then about 30 minutes after ordering our food server brings our kids meal and tells us our oder got pulled so that's what's taking so long but the manager is taking 50% off. It took over 40 minutes for our food to come out and with 2 small kids they were already ready to go finishing their food up. So my husband and I ate our wings very fast. They did taste good but I wouldn't consider them jumbo wings. The honey mustard is really tangy so not my choice of honey mustard but everyone choice in that us different. The other flavors we got was teryaki, carribean jerk, and something similar to general tsos and those were all good flavors. Nice for the manager to discount our food but from rude hostess, long wait time on drinks (water and kids drink) and food, manager never came out and apologized about the food taking so long can't give it...

I went to Wings Etc. at lunchtime for the first time on Tuesday Aug. 2nd 2016. I met a friend there who was recovering from surgery, and wanted to catch up together over a good meal. The service was extremely slow. We ordered a 1/2 order of the Nacho Appetizer. It had more condiments than chips - which were no where to be found. So we asked for forks in order to eat it. But by the time the silverware arrived, the appetizer was cold, soggy and uneatable. For myself I ordered the French Dip sandwich "with Au Jus"from the menu. It arrived on a hard sub roll, uncut, untoasted, and no Au Jus. When I asked about the "au jus" the waitress told me they stopped serving the Au Jus with the sandwich. Then why is it called a French "DIP"?? Might as well call it a Roast Beef Sub. This was ridiculous. My friend ordered the $10.00 lunch burger, and was able to take two bites and gave up. I did the same with the strange tasting Roast Beef "Sub". I asked for the check, and paid for our $34.00+ lunch!

In closing we found slow to inept service, attitude about what's published on the menu, a poorly prepared meal, and food that was not equal to the price being charged. I'd recommend finding somewhere...

First time there. When me and husband enter we wasn't greeted just this lady come up grab two menu and seat it at the table she didn't say this way is this table find or not we just took it that was our table and set down ask for ice water with lemon she brought water no lemon I asked for lemon she walked away still didn't say a word never did get the lemons. Order the loaded nachos it was ok the wings was good 12 wings garlic and the pepper one the philly cheese steak very dry no flavor the curly fries was ok they charged a dollar just for ranch dressing one cup which you would figure it would come with the wings. No celery or carrots to go with wings either didn't never ask if we need anything else or any more water till we was almost finish eating and then was asked and was only giving a half a cup instead of filling it up. I ask for the funnel cake fries and she said she would get that to go I wanted to eat it there but she took it to herself to put in a to go container didn't say thank you or please come again nothing. We won't be back. And I don't recommend this place to anyone either. I could possibly handle the food but service was bad right from the...
