A Shelbyville Indiana staple .. not many towns have a dairy queen like ours ...old school ..u get out wait in line and u actually get service this country could do with alot more of places like this was so glad when they rebuilt this place after their car accident that nearly destroyed the whole place a great place to take kids ..even whole teams to get a wonderful treat ..sit at the picnic tables and actually socialize in person instead of on these silly screens we all use now Shelbyville indiana has lost so many businesses lately lets be sure and never loose this one folks spend the money..get a treat ..take the kids ..grandkids ..teams ..mom and dad ..take them here and enjoy a little piece of what it means to be in this great country we all have keep up the fantastic work dairy queen hope to see u...

Wonderful outdoor version of DQ that has been around for quite sometime. The fact that it's a smaller store that serves you at a walk-up outdoor window has its advantages and disadvatages. But I've always felt it was much more positive as long as you know the limitations of this type of store.

For one, you do wait in line outside, no drive through. Although the staff are usually a well oiled machine and prepare everything quickly. You'll notice they call this a "Treats Only" store, and while that isn't strictly true as there are savory foods available, the selection is much smaller than a traditional large DQ.

Basically, go here in the summer for delicious ice cream, prepared right in front of you. Also of note, this place specifically still has chocolate soft serve, which I'm told is hard to find at the...
