Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Shelbyville

Had a bad experience at Nashville, TN Pizza hut while on spring break. We had asked for extra mushrooms on a stuffed crust pizza and it did not hardly have any mushrooms on the pizza. It was definitely not extra... We asked for green peppers on the pizza and about 2/3 of the pizza did not have any green pepper on it. In frustration I filled out a review like this one.

Week or so later Pizza Hut emailed/gave us a Free Pizza coupon code for our trouble-

We used the offer code for our free pizza at our hometown location- THIS PIZZA HUT - Shelbyville, Indiana - (Because Pizza Hut was sorry) and the pizza was supposed to have extra mushrooms and AGAIN, very little mushrooms... we have been ripped off on toppings so many times. Extra Toppings that were paid for. Matter of fact, if not for that free pizza I am not sure we would have tried it again.

I honestly believe that people putting this pizza together are lazy and not reading the order that says Extra Mushrooms on the pizza or they are being trained to not use very many toppings. I have been willing to pay extra for the extra toppings and have been ripped off over and over.

Nothing good to say about this location. Have to give everything a 1 star. I was so excited when the buffet announced its return. I called the store at 4:45 on a Saturday to ask for the buffet hours and if they were doing one that day. The manager on the phone told me yes that it would be from 5-8pm. We walked into the store at 6pm and no buffet. Worker was extremely rude about it and said he was told not to make any pizza for the Buffett. I called the manager and told them what happened she apologized and said they don't do the buffet if no one shows up within the first hour of it starting. Which I totally get not wanting to waste any product. However, I did call before and notified them we would be in. So they knew someone would be coming in to eat. Just all around disappointment. Also not to mention we came from out of town just for this. Will not be coming back after being told one thing and then it not being true! The store needs to be more transparent on things! Also all the chairs were up on the tables so it's like they didn't even want people to eat in the store in the first place. It's a shame. Had gone downhill. Shocked the doors...

This is the worst Pizza Hut in the region. This location is supposed to have a lunch buffet every week day and a dinner buffet on weekends. I recently visited this location with my daughter. After ordering (and finding out that they were out of multiple items), we sat down. My daughter and I immediately noticed how dirty the entire store was. See the pictures attached to this review. We were the only customers dining in but there were multiple tables that were filthy and had trash, left over food, drinks, etc. sitting on them. We visited at 5:30pm on a Tuesday afternoon and there was still food all over the floor around the buffets from lunch. The floor looks as if it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. Service was nonexistent after our pizza was brought out. While eating we noticed the bearded “cook” in the back just throwing pie plates around the kitchen. Thanks to the nonexistent service I went to the counter to inquire about a fork and knife and noticed that the kitchen was just as dirty as the dining room. I won’t be coming back to this location. In all honesty, this location should just be shut down. The employees and owners...
