Ordered a few items online and called them to make sure they had the right amount in stock. The guy who answered the phone said their inventory in on point. If whatever I see on the website, it should be accurate. Later that afternoon, he called me back to let me know know that they have less than what is listed on the website. I told him it was fine, just ship the one's they had on hand and cancel the one's that they did not have it in stock. A week later, still no notification of the status so i called in and inquire about my order. even before asking for my order number, the lady who picked up the phone straight up told me that it would sometimes get up to more than a week to get the orders shipped. She said we will ship it when we get to it (without even knowing my order number). I asked her if i can just cancel the order because I will just order it on a different vendor and she told me that there would be a 6% cancellation fee even though the order has not been shipped. Apparently, it was on the fine print when I placed the order. I guess it was my bad for missing it. Now, I in their mercy and have to wait for them to ship my order "when they get to it". The reason I made sure that they had it in stock in the first place is because I need the parts badly. If you are willing to wait about 2 weeks or more for your stock to arrive, then go ahead and place an order with this company. If you need it your orders badly, I would highly recommend you looking for other websites to order your...
Read moreWe walked in and were immediately greeted by Finn, the shop dog. He was a good boy who enjoyed belly rubs. Kimball was behind the counter helping a customer and he gave us a smile and a knowing nod. I’m not sure about his opinion on belly rubs. 🤣
The showroom had stocked cases of handguns, rifles, knives, suppressors, and other NFA items like short barreled rifles. On the shelves we found lots of reloading equipment and firearm accessories.
Bobcat Armament is unique in that they carry items from high-end manufacturers that can be difficult to find in stock at other shops. I saw brands like Daniel Defense, Microtech, Dillon, and Dead Air.
We chatted with Kimball about recent changes in the law regarding NFA items and the associated $200 federal tax they incur. He was helpful in explaining what the changes mean and how they will impact suppressor sales.
My cousin, visiting from out of state, inquired about a specific suppressor and found that they not only had it in stock, but had it priced cheaper than what he was finding at home. Kimball was able to arrange the sale and walk him through the process of transferring the suppressor to a dealer in his home area.
If you’re looking for high-quality firearms and the expertise necessary to navigate the often-confusing laws of firearm ownership, stop by Bobcat Armament and let Kimball show you what...
Read moreI am quite impressed with Bobcat Armament. I called to ask some questions before making an order and spoke with Larry who was kind, knowledgeable, and honest about what he knew and what he had less experience with. He encouraged me to call back and talk to Kimball who could go more in depth on all my questions. I got a hold of Kimball the next day and he took 45 minutes of his day talking to me about the procedures I was curious about and then made ordering very easy. He knew everything there was to know about the equipment (literally had part numbers memorized), answered my questions patiently and professionally, and really went above and beyond to make sure I was set up for success.
The only observation I will make is that the tracking number I got by email did not have a link, so I had to take an extra 2 seconds to copy it and paste to Google to get my tracking info. No big deal at all.
Thanks guys! I...
