Billy D's Full Belly Deli — Restaurant in Shelton

I read some of the reviews and I am glad to see other people seen what I seen! They ARE VERY RUDE! As one comment wrote. I wasn't greeted, just looked at with a look like yes how can I help you. They do not accept debit/ credit cards! A big inconvenience! They say "we have a atm". Yes, however that atm charges a fee! From their poor customer service, I'm assuming they don't have accept cards because they'll be charged a fee and they don't want to pay it! Once I paid for my food (after waisiting more money than expected on atm fees) they girl at the register handled my money very rudely. Took it from me and gave it back to me with this HERE attitude without saying a word. I took my change. Waited for my food. When it was ready, she grabbed my bag and said here! There was no thank you, have a good day, nothing! While I was waiting another customer came in and I'm not sure of their whole convo, but when that customer left, they were talking bad about him. I was appalled that they'd talk about their customers, the one who gives them business and especially in front of other customers! I felt very uncomfortable! I will not be returning here. This was my first time and last! Very rude! Poor...

The owner is an extremely rude and bad mannered individual. Her customer service and community relation skills are non existent which are essential when you run a mom and pop in a small town. She belongs at a DMV office not a loved hometown breakfast spot. It’s very sad to see a woman & business owner who treats her peers, colleagues, employees & members of the community you claim to serve with disregard, disrespect and bad manners. I will never patronize or give my money to a hometown business who encourages discord and discrimination in the community she brings her children up in and runs a business in. I would encourage others to think twice before spending your money here or working for her. In a day & age where consumers can choose where to spend their money based on a businesses social impact, I would encourage consumers to patronize a local business that fosters inclusion, works to bring our community together and respects their employees and people in general. If you want an amazing breakfast sandwich from people who are socially responsible in our community try AM Bagel. Food is actually quality and homemade, not processed garbage bought...

Best breakfast sandwiches in Shelton and possibly in Fairfield County. If you think that a change in ownership changed anything you are mistaken. The new Owner is also the cook and extremely friendly like Billy was when he cooked. He redid the inside a bit and it looks fantastic! They only accept cash, but they do have an ATM inside. Very friendly staff. A bacon, egg and cheese on a hard roll is $4.39 and that is my "usual" there and always delicious. Try their "Doubler" if you want to skip lunch. Normally very busy especially in the early morning hours but it could get busy any time of day their as they have the BEST breakfast sandwiches you can find! And it's only down the street from me. Awesome!
