AWFUL! Where to begin? This was the worst experience I have ever had with a pizza restaurant before. The delivery took well over an hour to get here. They didn't even write my address down correctly-- told the delivery driver to go to an entirely different town. When he arrived, the food was cold and was not good. This was the worst, most unprofessional margarita pizza I have ever had.
They do not know how to run a professional business. None of the employees listen to or respect the manager. When I called last night for a refund, they said nobody was available to offer this to me, and that I should call back in the morning to speak with their manager, Greg. When I called this morning, I was met with hostility, screaming, and condescension. He would refuse to listen to me at all. Greg told me "you try to call any restaurant in Connecticut with this story and see how you do." He did not believe that I was a customer-- despite him remembering my order! Insanity. All he understood was rage and aggression. I had informed him I took pictures of the pizza I could provide for him, and bring it in this morning to show him we had hardly eaten it, and he said "what good would that do?" and nearly cursed me out. DISGUSTING!
This food is OVERPRICED and UNPROFESSIONAL. I will NEVER come here again. Do not come here!!!! Not once did he apologize for my unfortunate experience. This business does NOT care about...
Read moreHave been a customer for 16 years I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!! I had a few problems the last couple of times. This Sat took the cake. Ordered at 5:15. Girl said 25 mins... you knew that was a lie. Had to pick it up because after 16 years they no longer deliver to me. We got there at 5:45. Did not leave until 6:20. Got all the way home. EVERY pizza was burnt. Pasta dish wrong the large salad was a small with no cheese that we paid extra for. I called and spoke to the manager who basically was rude and said he didn't care. Told me to place the food on my porch and they would send new food back once they see it.... WHAT???? So I should wait another 2 hours??? We ate the burnt pizzas and I told him he could pick up the pasta and salad. He did at 9:00PM.... So glad we weren't waiting for that!!!! This is the WORST customer service ever. I told him doesn't he care about the customers that have been loyal to him through Covid and everything and he said I have plenty. Who cares about you....
Read moreMy daughter and grands came today to cool down in the pool. We decided to order pizza from Captain's. The order was placed by phone to have it delivered(2 large pies with toppings). It took over 2 hours before we received the food, not to mention, my daughter called them 2x to find out why was it taking so long, they said it was coming soon. Then I called. The person that answered stated she was short staffed, never apologized about the delay, only stating it was in route. I stated to her, why couldn't you say this when the ordered was placed or even call us(they have the number on file)to say sorry for the delay? Dead silence on the phone. Customer service was extremely poor, which I hate. Sorry Captain's, it shouldn't be beneath you to say I'm sorry or have a system to call your customer when there's delays....when the delivery person arrived no apology from them either... The pizza was OK and of course kids love pizza good or bad, they were just happy it...
