Wendy's — Restaurant in Shelton

I was at the Wendy's in Shelton,Ct. after leaving to come home I decided to contact the manager, after many attempts to contact the manager by phone to discus my unpleasant experience, no one answered at all!?! I do have to say if their was a lower rating than poor for service I would award them it!! I can not understand the incompetence of the cashier but worse was the manager on duty. I could not comprehend her incompetence to manage, do you really think I would order a burger and ask for things on it that I DO NOT even like!! REALLY???? It was a simple hamburger. Then after taking it back to fix it, they forgot!!??? Then when we just wanted to leave and get our money back?? They couldn't figure it out and it was going to several minutes and they had to wait on other customers before getting back to us!!! Customer service??? I feel like when a do go their lately I have to keep my fingers crossed, what happened to this establishment, it really went...

Just had the most bizarre experience there, something I don't think anyone could make up. I had placed a small order at the drive through late night, and the lady at the pay window gave me five dollars back.

I tried explaining to her I only ordered two things, was cut off mid sentence while she asked someone else if I had ordered such a thing. (It of course, couldn't be that someone forgot to write it down...) The other employee said they didn't have that particular order, at which point she proceeded to claim that I sat in the drive through without ordering. Yep, that was my evil plan, lady?

After placing my order, or at least what I believe was placing my order, namely telling someone what I wanted through a speaker, I had assumed I could get my food. Boy, was I wrong! The manager properly put herself between the young lady and myself and just asked what I wanted, but at that point I was done. The drama was too much for...

Only about 1 car in front of us but still takes about 20mins for them to take our order. Ok, benefit of the doub maybe it's a big order? When we get our food I immediately notice the fries , Nuggets are not hot at all. Room temperature at best. And the burger is just warm. I very clearly told them Not to put Mayo on my burger twice... And yet somehow there's Mayo on it. Time was - 11:30pm Maybe this Wendy's is better in the daytime. But judging by these reviews I doubt it.

I was going to give this Wendy's at least two stars. But it would seemed that the employees can't follow the simplest of instructions coped with the fact that it takes three times as long to complete an order. If you or your friends are on the fence about this Wendy's or the next best option for food I highly recommend you...
