What a joke! Seated immediately. Placed order for 2 breakfast meals & an order of french fries. IT TOOK FOREVER!!. People sitting next to us had kids that were SCREECHING the l Entire time. It took 1.5 hours to get our meal & eat part of it. The food was not good overall. If you are handicap & use a wheelchair/walker - GOOD LUCK trying to get through to get to the bathrooms! It is so ridiculously tight with a waitress order counter sticking out; cabinets w/"stuff" on it & they put as many tables & chairs that they could possibly fit in this area that with people seated there you can barely fit to walk to the bathroom w/o the use of a wheelchair or walker cause honestly (I myself use a cane and/or walker) I don't think it would even fit unless you asked people to stand up & move away from the tables. If you make it to the bathroom they do have a handicap stall, but check for TP before you go because only 1 had any in it when we went. The restrooms were in need of cleaning & had a lot of trash on the floors. When you are ready to pay your bill if you are paying using a card they take it from you & leave your table with it. (With all the security breaches/scams, stolen card info, etc going on in the world today it makes me - and I am sure others - nervous about someone having complete access to ALL the information on my financial card when not in my possession. But anyways, from the minute we walked in until the minute we left, we did not encounter even 1 happy employee. Every single one was very rude from the hostess & Everyone after that. And if they made a error with your food, do not expect them to do anything to fix it, they just chuckle & mutter o...k.... Basically you would be better off going to one of the gas station truck stop restaurants to have a meal instead of this joke of a restaurant. You'll at least then get some decent service, friendly folks to talk to, a hot cooked meal & a cleaner restroom to use. Dennys - you FAILED BIG TIME. If I could score you a Zero - I would. (And reviewing I take seriously). My Recommendation is = GO SOMEWHERE ELSE UNLESS YOU LIKE THROWING...
Read moreIf I could rate it zero stars I would.. we waited patiently for seating. Get to our table waitress was nice and attentive, however once we got our cokes they tasted like seltzer water. Then we placed our order, and once we got our food.... 20 minutes later... we say grace, and go to eat. I take ONE bite, just one, and the mushrooms in the Philly omelette were completely RAW!! Nice and white with no browning on either side. I take one bite and it’s like consuming topsoil... I look through the “order window” and both cooks are staring at us, with big smiles, watching us take our first bite of raw top soil mushrooms... then once we told our waitress, we waited for another 10 minutes for the manager to get off the toilet, and come to our table, when she arrived she proceeded to tell me that it was impossible to have raw mushrooms since everything was placed in the pan at the exact same time... then said how could you tell if someone was smiling at you through a mask like cheek bones and raised and squinted eyes don’t exist lol..... I wouldn’t make this up... I’m an adult and tried to handle the situation as calmly as an adult could be after eating a mouth full of raw mushrooms and being laughed at while eating it by the cooks.... the manager then tells me that she has two of the best cooks in the state, (two of the best cooks out of the trailer park around the corner) and they would NEVER do anything to harm me... didn’t offer any solution to the problem and I still had to pay for one of the plates because my wife who ordered the same exact thing as I did ate a $1.99 order of hash browns and a .50 biscuit only because the remainder of the food was inedible..... people can say come on what do you expect it’s Denny’s all they want. Nobody should be served raw food or not what they ordered if they are paying customers... do yourself a favor and don’t go here, if your order is wrong prepare for immature childish owners/managers who are unprofessional and on the verge...
Read moreDear Denny’s,
As my previous employer, you must understand how much it pains me to write you this letter today. However, I feel that I can remain silent no longer. The workplace in the serving department has become extremely hostile, and I must ask that measures be taken to remedy this situation.
The problem first became apparent to me when I first started, which then I was new so I laughed it off. Several people let me know that’s just the way things were, Desiree Curry, did things her way and nothing would ever be done about it. I needed my job so I stuck it out and tried to stay away, but she continued to cause disturbances almost every time something didn’t go her way. It was brought to management but since she was so valuable considering she cooked and served they wouldn’t address the situation in fear of losing her and being short staffed.
Hostile events continued over the months I worked there, she was intimidating to her fellow teammates and was always talking down to them. She paid other people to do her work for her and always left before her shift was over and her work was done. One day I saw her pour a glass of liquid onto a customer which nothing was ever done about. She is cruel and this is not fair to her fellow coworkers. But on September 30th 2018 I was assaulted by Desiree Curry and although I made a police report they still tried to cover it up and she is currently working there with no consequences.
I respectfully request that Desiree Curry be held accountable for her actions. She makes employees feel uncomfortable and actually interferes with the ability to do their work.
Please do contact me at your earliest convenience. I look forward to hearing your proposal for solving this...
