White Castle — Restaurant in Shepherdsville

On 10/11/24 I went through the drive thru. Waited about 5 minutes for the car in front of me to pull forward. Got to the speaker at 9:55pm and was told " be right with you " and i sat there waiting as cars exited the drive thru behind me due to the wait. At 10:06pm I decide to pull up to the window thinking maybe there was a communication issue with the speaker. Sat at the window as workers walked by talking and ignoring me. I pulled up to the second window trying to get someone's attention. After honking someone came to the window and I explained that I had been at the speaker and now waiting over 15 minutes. She went to the manager and came back to the window and told me I'd have to go back through the line. I went in and asked for the manager. I told her what had happened and her only response was *we had a shift change .....what can I get you " I went ahead and placed an order because I had already been there and I had family in the car waiting for food. Placed my order at 10;16pm and got my food at 10:32. Other people came in after me and got their food. Drive thru orders where going out. I was put on hold I guess because I complained about the wait.The inside what dirty with trash on the floor and tables. The manager needs training or maybe find a different position. She had zero control over the restaurant. Terible service and obviously they don't care about customer service. I've never left a review in my life..I don't complain ever about anything but...

Wish I would have checked the reviews before stopping here while cruising down I-65. Eat here at your own risk. Stopped for lunch on a Wednesday around Noon. Plenty of parking and place was empty. First and last time at this location. Walked up to the counter and no one acknowledged I was there for about 3 minutes. Finally a bigger dude (maybe in leadership) noticed I was there and someone came up to take my order from the crew of 4 working. Ordered 4 sliders, fries and a chicken sandwich. I gave 2 stars on the food cause the sliders were decent. Not a lot of flavor but OK. Fries were "meh" and the chicken sandwich was missing the chicken. When I walked up to the counter and showed the guys my empty bun, the response was "did you check the bag?". I said "sure did" because I had to tear it open and use it as a tray on the dirty table. They basically chuckled and made another sandwich. They also didn't bother telling you (when ordering) that the soda-dispensing machine's options mostly were not available, leaving on a couple options. The couple came in after me were complaining because they went to get their drinks and no diet options were available. They fussed to the head dude and the counter and he gave them a refund for their drinks. Then that guy left to walk to another nearby business to buy them some drinks for their meal. First time eating at a White Castle,...

My cousin and I stopped here on our way from Louisville to Nashville for a short layover and we ordered 6 cheese sliders, a sweet tea and ice water. I ordered sweet tea, my cousin ordered water. When our order was served we got the food we ordered by it we were given empty cups! The beverage dispenser had no sweet tea and my cuz has to get his own water. I asked the "kids" who were "working" (no not really working), where is the sweet tea. I was told it was behind the counter. I tried to give them my cup with ice to be filled and was told they couldn't take it back. I asked if that meant I got a free complimentary beverage to which I was promptly, and somewhat rudely to boot, NO!! They gave me my beverage and sat down calmly, but somewhat irritated, and ate my food and walked outside to wait for my cuz. The food was great. The sliders were hot and fresh. Im 58 yes old and have eaten White Castle sliders since I was 8 yrs old in 6 states. This is without a doubt the worst one so far as far as customer service. The reciept clearly shows sweet tea. They should have given it to me instead of an empty cup knowing there was no dispenser. The staff obviously didn't care. It looked like a bunch of teenagers I intend to post this same review to corporate...
