Feeders Pet Supply — Local services in Shepherdsville

This place is right by my house which is convenient when your in a pickle.they have most anything you would need for cats dogs birds and fish. When it comes to supplies for exotic animals like my ferret kismet gets a little tricky. But this is not something to do with feeders supply only but seems to be running theme in most pet stores and I think it has to do with brand commitment and the fact that ferrets aren't your average pet.some places have somethings that the others do not. And their care products are limited. But over all I am very pleased with this pet store and the staff are usually nice and helpful and mostly don't tend to bombard you. With that being said you may have to initially seek out help if you have a problem when you do they seem eager to help. They could take a little better care of their fish tanks not that I don't think they try but wouldn't hurt to show a little extra tlc. Another thing to take note of while they do sell some exotics be sure you have a place that knows how to care for and take in your new little friend.with so many vets around you think it wouldn't be hard to find a vet to keep them healthy and up to date but it has proved to be unexpectedly difficult. Even petco will sell you a ferret but their own vets do not see ferret if that gives...

There have been several times I have went into the store and nothing is priced right or everything has been in the wrong spot so they say so today I went in there and was looking at the ferrets and they would not let me get one out to see the one that I wanted that I was thinking about purchasing two of the younger employees were very rude and smart Alec acting and then another older employee tried to tell me that was feeder supply policy that you couldn’t get the ferrets out which Is absolutely not true because I visit all feeder supply stores. So the one young girl wanted to keep on arguing with me and the older lady wanted to and then the young boy got smart especially after he rang my product up that I was going to buy and it was as he says in the wrong spot again so it was the wrong price so I said well screw you I will never be back to the store and you’ve lost couple customers. I will not spend $300 on a ferret and they won’t even let me get it out to look at it.I really didn’t wanna put even one star but I had to hit it in order...

I was pretty let down at my visit with Feeders Supply in Shepherdsville. I shop there often, but this particular day we tried the grooming service. Casey was very helpful and did a great job. She handed me a ticket and we proceeded to the front desk to pay. When we got there an associate called for a “manager”. Our ticket was apparently “discounted “ without me realizing. The manager was very rude in regards to a 10$ discount. I had no clue why the ticket was printed this way as I had booked online. She was super short and insinuating I somehow manipulated the sale. She reiterated multiple times that this “would not happen again”. I have been shopping in this store for many years and have had several bad experiences with this same manager. I have witnessed behavior toward staff that was inappropriate and unprofessional. The other staff members have been helpful and friendly. I’m hoping this particular employee in leadership has better training and is coached appropriately resulting in the brand having better...
