Valvoline Instant Oil Change — Local services in Shepherdsville

Went for an oil change, they also checked my fluids and attempted to check my tire pressure. I got new tires the day before so I knew my tires were fine but seen no harm in letting them check my tire pressure since one guy was complaining the other guys wasn’t doing anything. Maybe I should’ve just let them do nothing because the guy that came and said he was going to check my tire pressure, he went to my front drivers side and instantly started putting air in for at least 30seconds to a minute then sat there for a couple more minutes....then he yelled for the guy that was checking everyone in for they’re and I seen him present my valve stem. The manager is called for and he comes out and says this thing happens with tires sometimes that are worn and I told him well I just got these tires new the day before and his employee was putting air in my tire without checking the pressure first. They gave me half off my oil change and then the store said they’d pay for my new valve stem and once I got to the place I got my tires they also said I needed a new tire pressure sensor because that had also broke with the valve stem. Oh and remember how they said they checked my fluids in my car. Well they checked them and I was out of windshield wiper fluid (that I knew prior to going in) and they put on my invoice that the also replaced my windshield wiper fluid, I looked later after trying to use the wiper fluid and guess what there was no fluid in there, it was completely dry. Needless to say this was my very FIRST TIME going to a Valvoline and I will never go back. So if you want to make an extra trip to the tire shop, put your own fluids in, and watch some employees argue this is the place for you. Next time I’m changing my own oil, and everything else....

EDIT: After I made the review below, management called me for more info. I received a coupon for a free oil change to give them another chance. They have REALLY improved. Professional and quick service even though there were only two employees working that day. Came here for an oil change. Initially it was fine until I heard a female employee use the F word loud and clear. Then she did it again. I was going to ask for a fill up on washer fluid (I knew I was low) but they have lied to me before and I was going to see if that had been a fluke. Invoice says they added some but as I drove away the sensor light came on as before so that was a lie. I went across the street for gas and looked at the engine to see if they had messed anything up (different location had left a wrench in my engine so I wanted to check) And I don’t know what the tech had been doing in there but there is oil sprayed all over it. (And now my car smells like it’s burning) I have heard unprofessionalism here before but wanted to give them another chance because everyone has a bad day sometimes. But it seems to be their mode of operation. I’m not even a prude…I just don’t think shouting profanity should be a part of an oil change. I like to give food reviews but for this location,...

I have been coming to this location for 2 to 3 yrs now. This is the 1st time that I had an experience like this. I went to get an oil change on my 2017 chevrolet Tahoe. The person who checked me in was great but the people who where working on my truck complained the whole time. They rushed the service my tire pressure was not checked or filled even though it says it was on the invoice. Also my automatic stairs that were working perfectly fine before I went in no longer work. So when I got home after the experience I just had, I fell out of my truck expecting my auto step to come out and to my surprise they are not working 😕. I'm not fully understanding why they disconnected my steps for an oil change but hey I don't know much about oil changes. The I tired contacting this store multiple times with no luck. So I had to call the customer service line and open a claim. This takes time that I don't have. I'm not sure if I will be returning with this company after this experience. All I was is for my steps...
