I have left plenty of reviews but this is my first one star review. I am leaving this not to blast the place, but in hopes it can be helpful. The big picture: It took over an hour and 20 minutes from seated to receiving food for a table of three and, despite being very hungry, we left much of the food uneaten because it was so bad. $78 for two burgers and 12 wings. Now, the details: I have been here a few times during the week and it was busier on this visit than I have seen previously. We were seated about 12:45 - some tables finishing some ordering. The wait staff was very friendly and I think they were trying to do a good job (no standing around, etc). However, the wait staff just weren't being efficient with their time. Staff were walking right by tables that went unbussed for 30 to 60 minutes each time they went to the back empty handed; bringing silverware/napkin rolls two at a time to a large table; etc. Those inefficiencies resulted in our order being taken more than a half hour after being seated. Our food coming out 50 minutes after ordering. About that food.... When it finally arrived, the fries were cold and soggy, the burgers luke warm, the tots sooooo salty they couldn't be eaten. The one bright point in all this appeared to be my son's wings - he said they were good and they looked good (not all soggy, he said they were warm and good flavor). Sometimes the wait it worth it when the food arrives... it was not worth the wait nor the prices ($78 before tip for two burgers and 12 wings). The atmosphere is nice and the wait staff were friendly but everyone working here has to do better. Seriously. I will give it a while before I think about coming back and certainly won't try a work meeting or something else consequential as a first run. Good luck to the staff - you have...
Read moreWorst experience we've had a quite awhile. Service was crappie, waitress had no spirit and was very bad. She never came to check on us after our food was delivered nor to check and see if we needed refills on our drinks.
The food was overpriced for the crab we got. Ordered the duck bacon wonton and the fried pickles to start with, they both came out hot. But ya only get 4 wontons for $27, they had no flavor and so little filling in them basically all we were eating was a fried wrapper. The fried pickles are fried with cornmeal instead of flour, which is fine or would have been if the batter was actually on the pickles. Most of them had little to no batter on them.
We ordered a BLT with tots, Hawaiian burger with coleslaw and a dozen wings for entrees. The BLT and tots were the only things eatable and the BLT was barely there. The lettuce was wilted with black spots on it, the single slice of tomato was mushy had to be removed as it had a sour taste to it. The Hawaiian burger was overcooked, burnt and looked like a frozen patty. I'm sorry but a burger should be cooked med-rare to medium at the most, not so long and hard ya can barely eat it. It had almost a half inch slice of cream cheese on it and a quarter slice of pineapple on it. The coleslaw had a sour vinegar taste to it and make my wife gag when she tried to eat it. And I'm not sure how ya can screw up wings so bad. They weren't fired like ya expect wings to be, and I'm not sure how ya can overcook and undercook a wing at the same time. They looked like they were boiled. They still had raw meat in them all and they were so mushy ya couldn't eat them. And so much water and grease in they tray.
$150 bill and all we ate was the tots and BLT. Would not and cannot recommend this place to anyone. And definitely will not...
Read moreI normally don’t hand out bad reviews but when you hit the rare superfecta of terrible food, terrible service while being grossly overpriced and served with poopy hands the general public deserves to know. Came in around 1 pm on a Saturday to 2 tables and about 6 distracted employees. After 10 minutes of waiting I went to find my own menu and finally got acknowledged as the 3rd table in the restaurant. I then took a look at the most expensive bar food menu on the planet and decided I was committed at this point and had hopes that it would at least be good…..I ordered 6 wings for $17 and couldn’t stomach ordering a side of fries for $13 so I ordered a bowl of chili and the chicken strips for my son. After ordering, we used the restroom and found it had no hand soap, given the 0 customers and 3-4 male employees in there I highly doubt it ran out without any staff not washing their hands and going about their food handling business. At this point I should have walked out, but again, I felt committed. Our food came out and it was worse than I could have imagined. The wings were soft, pink and mushy and tasted like they were baked yesterday and nuked today. The chili was lukewarm and they served the cheapest sysco frozen chicken fingers with a side of soggy fries and Oreos crumbs in jello pudding (the only decent thing they served). We ate about 25% of our meal before I had to track down my bartender/server in the kitchen to get my bill. Never in my life have I regretted telling my son he couldn’t have McDonald’s for lunch until today. 6 hours later I made it to Denver and am patiently awaiting food poisoning. Do...
