I’m giving it two stars only because the menu looks delicious and I was excited enjoy my anniversary there. However, I ended up walking out. Upon arrival we were greater by the host who was very kind and professional. However, once we were seated and given water we remained seated at our table for approximately 15 min. Without being acknowledged by the 3 servers walking around the restaurant. I watched as one delivered food to a table and the other two chatted over removing plates and silverware from another. I even made eye contact with one of them multiple times expecting some sort of acknowledgement. Again, nothing. My husband and I ended up leaving and going to good ol’ Texas Roadhouse due to the limited options that we have here in Sherman. I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service that was presented. I come from many years of working in the fine dining service industry and it’s a shame to see the lack of respect as a guest that was presented to tonight. I hope this message reaches the owner or general manager and that...
Read moreVery upset. Traveled 1 1/2 hours to eat here, this evening. My 9 year old wanted Italian food for his early birthday dinner and this restaurant was recommended to us. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very snippy hostess. She immediately asked if we had reservations, to which I replied, "No, I wasn't aware that we needed one." The restaurant was empty, besides two groups (each of 2) of people. She looked at her computer screen to see if she could "fit us in" and then informed me that she just couldn't do anything. I finally just point blank asked, "Should I just take my children elsewhere to eat?" She informed me that the restaurant was "really not kid friendly", but we could go sit in the lounge (IN THE BAR AREA) if we'd like. After I declined that offer, she... recommended I take my family to Olive Garden. If your restaurant requires a reservation or is not kid friendly, you might want to post that for...
Read moreI have eaten here many times and have always felt it was over priced for the quality of food you receive. However, the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff always made it worth the trip. Sadly, after my lunch today, I will no longer eat here. The soup was lukewarm, the pasta salad was inedible (should never have been served), the fish did not taste fresh, and the avocado was brown. We pointed this out to the waitress and this simply resulted in her being unfriendly for the rest of the meal. Things have just been going downhill for the last few months. I hope they get things back on track so that they remain a thriving business in Sherman for many years to come. Good people, just need to make some...
