For this particular visit, it’s should be 2 stars, but since they aren’t always THIS bad, I’m going with 3 stars. We haven’t been to this location in a while because their service and cleanliness hasn’t the best, but decided to give it another try after about year. Well it’s still smells like mildew when you walk in the lobby and the flow is greasy and slick, so that hasn’t changed. Service was worse today than the last time we were in. We ordered a side of Rotel for the nachos, they brought the nachos but said the side of Rotel would be a few minutes because they ran out. Then we discovered they didn’t put ANY Rotel on the nachos, so when they brought the extra, we had to ask for extra Rotel again because they didn’t understand that they didn’t give us the extra that we paid for in the first place, because what they gave us was what was supposed to be on the actual nachos. We also ordered the mini hot dogs, they came out cold and without the ranch we ordered. Had to ask for ranch and for a remake of the hot dogs. We could here them in the kitchen talking about us like we were being difficult customers. Guess we were supposed to eat cold hotdogs and be grateful they even came out the kitchen. We could hear several other customers having to ask for stuff they ordered that didn’t make it to their table either. Another customer was upset because they laid his order on the counter and didn’t tell him it was ready, so he’d had been standing there waiting for a while. The guy with the broom was nice BUT he was sweeping and picking stuff up off the floor with his bare hands and then bringing people food and sides right after. He brought the table behind us their side of ranch in one hand while he had his broom and dust pan in the other one, EWE!!! There was a girl who was really nice and was trying to help us get our order right and brought out new warm hotdogs, but overall, the location isn’t very good and I don’t recommend it. You’d be better off going to the one...
Read moreI sent to get curbside on Friday evening. My order was said to be ready at 6:08. I was turning into the parking lot, when they called and said they were put of potatoes. No problem, I told them to refund that cost. I get to the curbside at around 6:18 and call the number to tell them I am here. They tell me they were still working on it. No problem, I wait. At around 6:40, no one has contacted me and my food still isn't out. I decided decided to go in to check, and there isn't a line and they are not that busy, so I go up to the counter. Behind the register, I see the kitchen window is full of completed orders to go and for those eating inside. I tell them I had a curbside order and wanted to check the status. They go to the window, and it was sitting there. I then have to wait inside while they package it up, with quite a few others who suddenly started getting their orders that were also ready, just not packaged up to go. The manager says something to me about a refund, so I wait and tell the cashier I wanted to make sure we got our refund for the fact they ran out of potatoes. The cashier comes over and tells me, oh it will be credited to your account in two days. I ask if they need my card for the refund and they said no, they did it in house. I get home to eat, and their was no salad dressing in my salad and no pickle. All I ended up getting was a sandwich and a salad and the order still was not correct. As of today, we still don't have a refund for the potato they ran out of, and hope it will be there tomorrow so I don't have to go back to this mccallisters. While I appreciate the politeness of the frontline staff, the reality was they were not that busy, my order should have been right, and the wait shouldn't have been that long when it was sitting there at the window. I eat frequently at mccallisters where I live and have never had issues like this. We have decided to avoid this mcallisters...
Read moreWe are regulars at our local McAlister's and it is Awesome... However a visit yesterday to the Shiloh, Illinois location was BAD... We ordered our favorite two Salads, the "Pecanberry" & the "Southwest Chicken & Avocado"... When they arrived to our table there were no Strawberries on the Pecanberry salad, No Avocados, Onion, Cheese or the requested Cucumbers, Bell Peppers, Black Olives, Green Onions & the wrong dressing on the other.. When we asked about it, we were told they were out of Strawberries, Avocado & Onion... (could have told us when ordering) They then put the other missing ingredients on and brought it back... It took a while so we decided to ask for a refund and we left Very disappointed... It is amazing there could be that much difference in the two locations... The Edwardsville, Illinois location is always a solid 10+ and the Shiloh location is a 0... They earned this Very negative review for sure... Which would you rather ??? We would never return to the...
