Bearno's on Dixie — Restaurant in Shively

Called in on 2/18 for a Super Mama Bearnos delivery around 9:15 pm. I became busy but looking out for food. I got an 11:29 pm text that my pizza was ready. I’d let time get past me but that was really late. No delivery came so I called at 12:15 am. Mgr says my order was written as a pick up. My car is down that was impossible. Told i could get 1/2 off next time. I said we’re still waiting to eat now! Pizza was made and delivered around 12:15 am. after mgr said it’s free as long as I tipped the delivery driver bcuz he’s delivering on his was home. I did. It tasted very different we all agreed. It wasn’t that good at all. An hr later Im stuck in the bathroom with DEADLY stomach cramps and diarrhea. Made several trips back and forth! Free pizza wasn’t so free at all! Shame on you Bearnos! Update…sadly found out this morning everyone that ate the pizza are having the same issues. My daughter just reminded me of the new “cheese cup”that was included with the pizza. It was new and...

The pizza was good. It was prepared the way I requested. It is what happened after it left the kitchen that got this rating. Ordered at 3:24 supposed to be delivered at 4:35. Called at 4:45 was told it would be there in 12 minutes. Called back at 5:11 was told I ordered the pizza before they even started delivering so it was only 3 minutes late, but he is on the way. Got a call at 5:20 from the driver saying he left it on the porch. I informed him that I asked it to be handed to occupant. He said he knocked on the door LOUDLY for 5 minutes and no one answered 😒. I was like you did not knock here what address are you at? He said the address he was given. I said that is the wrong house. This is where my GPS told me to come it messes up probably once per shift.🤥 He was apologetic, but after 2 hours of waiting not worth it. I just ask that when you work with the public, to treat the customer like you or someone you care about...

This is one of my favorite pizzerias. Unfortunately, the rating of the atmosphere was low for two reasons. First, I came in maybe 1 and 30 to 45 minutes before closing, ordered a small pizza, nothing special. I realize when ppl work all day and its close to closing, they focus on cleaning and getting HOME. With this being said, individual who accepted my order was not very pleasant. Second,, I usually request a drink while i wait for my order, or individual who took my order would suggest it. I asked, informed they had no to go cups. But, I was not offered a 16 ounce soda either. So, I waited for my ordered, gave a minimal tip of $1.00. I thought about contacting the manager of this location to suggest tips specifically for Cooks!! As always my pizza was DELICIOUS!!! Again, I emphasize the low atmosphere rating was this one incident where I do realize ppl could have experienced a previous sour incident...
