Woody's Bar — Restaurant in Shoreline

Ive only been there a few times. I've always called it "The Wedge" since the whole building is shaped like...well...a wedge of cheese. It's more like a Piece of Cake but 'The Wedge' sounds alil better than 'A PIECE'. I digress. The ladies room is tiny w/1 stall. The big, beautiful night bartender is Matt. His big muscular shoulders barely fit in little closet that they call a kitchen. But I've heard good things about their signature pressed hot dogs. Lotsa outdoor covered seating....for smokers. Parking is abit of a challenge but once inside its one of those comfy dive bars full of real friendly people unwinding. Karaoke on Thurs nights *And Saturdays as well w/Ferhone. Great host, gr8 sound & lighting system w/online Songbook! I usually don't go to a bar unless there's Karaoke...with nice, friendly, know how to run a FUN KARAOKE SHOW Hosts. Best bar I have ever been to in my entire life. We are visiting from out of state to celebrate my friend’s fathers passing and he allegedly lived above this bar. Our fist night here we were immediately approached by two of the coolest women and made friends with them quickly! Jenny, the bartender, was literally so inviting and extremely accommodating. The second time we came another female bartender(I’ve forgotten her name sadly) helped us learn of other local places and was very sweet when they were out of what I initially ordered for food. The THIRD time we came, another nice person gave us free drink vouchers and more recommendations 😭😭 even though we were just visiting we felt right at home. It is very small and niche but the energy is perfect...

Honestly if the bartender wasn’t such a miserable B this place would be so much better. She’s always been so rude to me bc I’m “high energy” literally asked my BEST FRIEND how she puts up with me… laughable honestly. Here’s a tip, if you don’t like high energy people maybe bartending isn’t the job for you Aisha (or however you spell your name).
