Teriyaki Island — Restaurant in Shoreline

Would have to say this is the best teriaki I've had in a long time and that says a lot because there's tons of teriaki places in Seattle. Spicy teriyaki was flavorful and not too spicy they didn't go and dump a bunch of sambhal or pack it with jain it which you can find at most places. The chicken was fresh reeled to order in very succulent. Is certainly wasn't lacking flavour in substituting for the vegetable fried rice is always a plus. The price is just perfect, anything lower will definitely be insulting to the chef because they definitely pour their heart into the flavour of their food. The service was spot on, called my order in, everything was hot and prepared I didn't have to wait. The manager was so accommodating with making a special order of katsu curry for me, the curry was so creamy I wanted to bathe in the sauce it was so delicious. I will be back! The flavor is phenomenal. Meat is fresh and tender, with a good amount of char. The katsu is literally PERFECT. Perfect portion, perfect crunch, perfect flavor. Some other restaurant's katsu lacks flavor, but not here. Combined with the teriyaki sauce, this is the best katsu I've had so far.

The staff are friendly and attentive. They will look you directly in the eyes and smile when you order, or patiently wait while you browse their menu. The selection of food is pretty big; they serve wok-style dishes and ramen as well. The price is affordable.

I ordered the white breast teriyaki and the katsu bowl. I like the portion size. The chicken here is cut to appropriate slices (meaning you can comfortably fit every piece in your mouth), and that knife must be SHARP because those cuts are super clean, which makes the chicken look asthetically pleasing. The food was served in under 5 minutes.

Fresh, fast, and friendly. 10/10 for me.

I've always loved this restaurant since my partner and I moved closer to it, but after today's mistaken order delivered on a food delivery service platform, we are thankful for how the restaurant corrected the mistake and got our correct order out, even at the cost of their supplies in not getting the correct order (that we ended up with). Just another reason (besides delicious menu) that we are now even bigger fans of TI! Love you guys, thank you so much!

The potstickers were Perfectly Crispy, all your sauces are loved, and the bowl is just outstanding as always!
