Read moreWe received TERRIBLE customer service at Bambu RVA. We went during a non busy time with only one customer who was already talking to the cashier when we walked in. We looked through the menu, decided our order, and waited as the man who had already been there prior to us was still talking to the cashier. Some time had now passed, but we kept waiting eager to place our order. We were shocked by the lack of awareness and concern of the cashier who kept on chit chatting with the man with no regard to us who had been waiting patiently to place our order. It would’ve been okay if the man was confused or needed help, but there was ongoing chit-chat unrelated to the menu/service. Moreover, even after the man finished placing his order, the chatter continued on to which we finally hear the cashier say, “Let me get them.”
There was no greeting by the cashier to let us know that she would tend to us soon or any form of apology for the long wait. We grew restless by their dragged on conversations and the disingenuous customer service, so we decided we no longer wanted to give them our business. Before disappointedly walking out, we let the cashier know how inappropriate the interaction was and hope they will learn from this. We also asked to speak to the owner to which the cashier said she will go get them and then suddenly said she’s actually a co-owner.
