Room was large 2 queen beds, and very clean. No signs of smoke or pets. 4 towels for 4 people. Maid in hall nicely provided 4 more towels. Tiny fridge, and microwave. Plenty of sockets and USB charger which at the time of review were not destroyed yet. Nice large shower and bathroom. Nice large TV 48 inch. Nice curtains to keep out sun. Good HVAC.
Indoor outdoor pool where kids can swim from indoor to out. Kids loved it. Plenty of towels at the pool. Problem is that the pool is just off the highway and if you're out on the lounge chairs it is so noisy you can hardly talk to each other. I measured the decibel level at greater than 80. This won't bother your kids. While there were no smoking signs all around the pool, two smokers felt it was necessary to sit and smoke on the other side of the fence without a care that they were ruining the enjoyment of the pool for everyone there or that they were exposing the kids to their poison. I'm sure being they were smoker's they were not supposed to be smoking there.
Front desk has a corporate attitude but this was fine. They were efficient dressed in uniform and polite.
The evening meals are a nice treat. Read what everyone else is saying about them. We were eating for one night so it was okay. I think the quality of the food was very good. The selection was amazing. There was soup and salad as well as pulled pork sandwiches baked potatoes baked beans, hot dogs vegetables etc. Free drinks for the kids from a soda fountain. Three free mixed drinks or alcoholic drinks for each adult. Bring a dollar or two for each drink as a tip. The alcohol came from a hose dispenser so you really have no idea what alcohol you're actally getting. They had Bud Light On Tap which i noticed no one was drinking and then they had a local beer/lager which tasted similar to what I remember bud light tasting like. Maybe this is how they are getting rid of their Bud Light. If you're wondering, there are plenty of chafing dishes with plenty of food and you could make a big meal out of it and I saw several people doing this. Tons of seating in a large dining room. The kids loved the dinner. I felt that the food was pretty good for free Hotel food. I noticed the people who were working from the guys in the kitchen to the lady pouring the drinks seemed like they really cared and took pride in what they were doing. The place was clean and there were alot of happy guests there and no one was drunk. (There was not alot of alcohol in the drinks). Drinks were good and an amazing appreciated amenity.
Beautiful building and physical plant with plenty of parking and in a very safe feeling environment.
Great management can be inferred by the great workers and how they keep the place. They make the experience feel like being at a resort, sort of.
Breakfast included some of the same fare you find at other chains, but just better quality food. Powdered or institutional eggs were pretty good as was thehick cream gravy. Potatoes and sausage patties. Make your own waffles. They had someone there making pancakes in the dining room on a large skillet board. Fresh fruits, decent breads...
Fridge in room could be better.
Great stay. This hotel sets the high bar. I have millions of Hilton points which means I have stayed in alot of hotels. This place reminds me of a really nice Homewood suites and in my case without the suite, but still better. I only stay at Hilton now to get rid of my points and I won't ever pay for another night at that chain because of their reservation policies and competition like this new Drury. Not many of their hotels can compare to this...

This hotel is NOT IN A SAFE LOCATION!!!!!
Cons: The biggest DOWNSIDE for this hotel...is the location!!!!!! While we were there, 3:30 A.m there was a shooting between two people!!! Three different types of guns were used, 15 cops were there, ambulance, and firetrucks. Two bullets went through a 4th floor window into the ROOM!! Another bullet went all the way through the rooms door and into the hallway!!!! It was so so scary, the news isn't saying anything about this, and people should know. This isn't a safe location, at all!!!! We will not be going back here evee again bc of the safety
The chemicals were so strong and unbalanced our eyes were burning just after 5 minutes! Our bathing suits turned white, and we couldn't breath the air, that's how strong and imbalanced the chemicals were. We told the front desk about this around 1 P.M. Went back to the pool after supper around 6:15 and it was WORSE, so they did not care about the importance of having the pool and jacuzzi enjoyable and safe to be in. I went to the restaurant on site, the bartender told me to use the App to order, I said ok i will, thank you. I ordered a pizza from their restaurant around 8:30 on their app. I received an alert around 8:45 saying my pizza was ready and to go to the bar to get my order. The guy at the bar, looked so overwhelmed that he was having to bartend AnD get people's orders to go. They needed more staff there. He wasn't looking over in my direction to see if I needed help or anything, so I finally spoke up,he got my pizza, 10 minutes later I finally got my pizza, but it was cold by that time. It wasn't that good in my opinion 😕 🤷 for $15 it also wasn't that big either. Maybe 12 inch?
So now we have a pool and jacuzzi we can't use bc the chemicals are so terribly strong, the air is toxic, the service was understaffed in my opinion, the pizza wasn't good and overpriced for the portion.
Pros: The hotel is beautiful on the inside, lots of chairs to sit and relax. They include breakfast and supper I'm your stay, along with three free alcohol drinks. They have a bar/ Restaurant that is...
Read moreI had a really good experience at this hotel, starting with the front desk clerk. I came in to try to check in early around noon. I had not requested early check-in but ended up getting there much earlier than I expected. The clerk was not optimistic but looked anyway and found one room available that met my needs. They gave me early check-in free of charge. They provided great instructions for how to access the various amenities including the indoor swimming pool and gym. They also have a hotel guest bar and provide two free drinks during happy hour every day for hotel guests. Guests get a business card with the free drink voucher on it. I did not end up trying this so I can't speak to how good the bar or drinks were but I thought it was a really nice complimentary perk. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a nice variety. I was happy to see a host of offerings for condiments for the breakfast foods, such as 3 different hot sauces 😋 There was a waffle station, cereal dispensers, bagels, toast, biscuits and gravy, fruit juice, coffee, and a variety of teas to steep with a good selection of creamers. The scrambled eggs were good, as was the coffee and tea. I didn't try any of the meats.
My room was well appointed. I saw nothing unsanitary to indicate poor cleaning between guests. The view was nice considering it's a busy area. I was not a fan of the mattress or the chair. Neither were very comfortable but that's not terribly unusual. Everything in the room was in working order, including the mini fridge and coffee maker. There were plenty of linens and pillows. There was more than adequate lighting and all of the bulbs were working.
There is free guest Wi-Fi and I was able to work without any difficulty with the speed.
The parking lot is plenty big enough. I saw a guest back into another guest's vehicle while unloading my things in the parking lot. The hotel staff went above and beyond reaching the vehicle owners and assisting with taking down necessary information.
The entire premises looked and felt clean. I felt safe here. I had no problems during my two-night...
