I'm absolutely disgusted by the way I was spoken to over the phone tonight by the manager. My husband made an online order for a small pizza for our 2 year old son. The pizza that was picked up was a fiery flavor. Obviously an error occurred with the ordering process whether it be on my husband's end or theirs. Either way, I called and politely explained what happened and asked if it was possible to get an exchange. Not once did I feel entitled to a refund because we really don't know whose fault it was. I was merely calling to ask was it possible to get an exchange as a courtesy. I would have been fine whether the outcome was yes or no. Before I could even finish explaining, the manager cut me off and said " let this be a warning to you that I will not give you another refund ever again." I was appalled that he said that, seeing that I NEVER even asked for a refund. This man went on to sigh loudly in my ears, at one point he exclaimed OMG. Another time he told me " go ahead and talk" and as I'm speaking he cuts me off. I've never been so disrespected in such a way before in my life over pizza. I always go to Marcos Pizza but never again. You lost a customer due to poor management behavior. And I will make sure to share this experience with my friends and family. On Thursday, 3/18/21, we ordered the extra large all meat pizza for curbside pickup through the app for the Glen Allen location. We arrived after the pizza showed ready. I pressed the I have arrived button. After 10 minutes I called & the man said he had just seen the notification. We were given our pizza. We live less than 5 minutes from the restaurant. The pizza was old, as if it sat for hours. We never did find the bacon. It was cut into 12 slices yet not a piece of sausage per slice. The hardened cheese was lacking. I decided to give feedback via the app, regarding our experience through the app, (since the last time I talked to the manager about a missing item, she looked at me as if I were slow). I did ask that someone contact me. No response! I have decided no more Marcos. On Saturday, my friend told me the same thing.
Previous review: The meat pizza was amazing. They do not skip on the amount of meat. The size of the pieces of meat were lovely. The crust, that one can see being made in house, was very light & tender. It was our first time enjoying the Marco's experience. Eventhough, the host teased me about my football team attire, he was unbelievably helpful & patience! 😁😂😁.

Read moreCalled last week for delivery was told it would be 30-40 min and after over an 1 hour had passed by still no delivery I called and asked where my delivery was and all I got was....."it's out for delivery" My response was if it can't be delivered to after well over an hour wait at that point in 15min cancel the order. 5min went by I got a call 📞 and was told my money would be refunded.
Fast forward to this week, today 9/30/25 I call to place another order and was told that they can't deliver to me/address because my address was on blacklist/do not deliver to again. There is no other reason to put me on the- do not to deliver to list- other than I canceled because I was told a delivery time that Marcos didn't stick to. Marco's thinks that a customer is supposed to sit and continually wait beyond their wait time...No!! 15min maybe past the time they tell you, but not over an hour. That's bunch of crap an another example or very poor customer service.
BEWARE!!! don't cancel your order no matter how late they are (yeah right....u are supposed to wait forever huh?) past the time they tell you your pizza will be there because they will blacklist you and you'll be put on the do no...
