Stopped in for late dinner Thursday evening , only 2 tables occupied . Service quick , friendly and caring , also no problem with my requests .
Family run , friendly , welcoming customer service -oriented and comforting.
Ordered Dumplings as Appetizer - steamed . Arrived fast but a bit heavy / Doughy , dipping sauce pedestrian , lost interest after 2 . Should have taken advice of reviewers and ordered them Pan -fried, would have given them a whole new life and crispiness.
Ordered a Veggie Pho + shrimp . Also requested Bok Choy . Was old No Bok Choy - ( What , In a Vietnamese soup place ?!?) .. Soup arrived with Napa leaves, some broccoli , carrot slices . Noodles very good and broth well-flavored for beef depth and seasoning - arrived with sprouts, lime ( 1) and Jalapeno slice , no Cilantro leaves as others serve. Ordered Hot tea , arrived warm-hot , asked for refill with HOT Water.
They started cleaning up , moving tables , & vacuuming for closing just after I was served , so not the most peaceful dining experience, but I did arrive within the last hour of business that night - owners do need to consider this since not conducive to an enjoyable dining experience - no matter who is left in D. room ! Looking forward to visit # 2 and trying the other highly recommended Vietnamese / Pho places In the area when I am...
Read moreJust finished a very enjoyable experience here. The staff was very quick, attentive and extremely friendly. The owner came by the table and spoke with us, he was very kind and explained our dishes a bit to us. He comes of as someone who cares very much about the dishes, which is pleasant. The atmosphere was nothing short of fantastic. Very classy with relaxing jazz music and other instrumentals playing. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. We ordered a three coarse meal composing of an appetizer, main coarse, and dessert. We ordered the crispy spring rolls to start. They came as a pair. Very crispy, crunchy, fresh, and HOT! They seemingly just came out of the frier. Delicious! The dipping sauce was mild but complimented the rolls well. For a main coarse I had the wonton Pho with pork. Best wontons I've ever eaten, and the noodles were extremely fresh. My girlfriend had the vegetarian pho and she enjoyed her dish as well. The vegetables were very fresh and crispy, even in the broth. For dessert I ordered the flan and she had a bubble tea. Hands down the best bubble tea we had both ever tasted, so good. The flan was also killer, the cherry sauce complimented the extremely smooth texture. Overall this establishment is very clean, fresh, and classy. You won't be dissapointed. My new go to...

The pho was of decent quality, though for my personal tastes not to the same quality as some other pho places I've been to in the area, and there is quite the selection in Richmond alone. The selection of available cuts of beef that could go into the pho was not as wide as in other places. I like my pho spicy, and so I was slightly disappointed as I really wish I could have gotten some proper chili oil to add to my pho, because what was on the table was not chili oil — appeared to just be some other variety of hot sauce in addition to the bottle of sriracha that was there too. Decently hot, but not nearly to the same potency as pure chili oil that you get in that same sort of little pot in other pho places. Also there wasn't any hoisin sauce on the table by default, which is strange given that hoisin is generally a pretty popular additive to pho in Vietnam along with sriracha. The menu was quite varied, which was nice, and the staff were also quite nice as well and extremely helpful, willing to and able to answer pretty much any question you could throw at them. Overall a decent experience, but nothing to...
