This restaurant has been in business for decades. Indian is not my favorite cuisine but I have never been unhappy with the offerings here. It's very much a family business. The service is reliable and prompt, the food consistent and filling. The decor is somewhat bland but with touches of the exotic and an overall feeling of comfortable familiarity. In addition to the usual services available at all restaurants, there is also a small market room with spices and knickknacks from fabulous India. I would especially recommend India's for those who have never experienced Indian cuisine. The menu is marked to indicate which foods are spicy and you should pay attention to that -- if it says it's hot, you are going to be surprised by HOW hot :) I want to update my review. Ordered takeout last night and they forgot to include the nan, which was really why we decided to order from this location -- their nan is the best, imo. So I had to go back and I was not happy about it. But when I came back they recognized me and immediately made it good, even offering free soft drinks. I felt like that was fair. Some people think a mistake like that should mean the whole meal is free, but I disagree. Accidents happen and they made it up and didn't make a big deal out of it, just took me at my word and gave me a little something for my trouble. I still highly recommend India's, especially at the new location (the old Brocato's building on Kings, a fine dining art deco...
Read moreWent to Indias atleast a dozen times and tried out most of the stuff and happy to say that it was all good.Actually the food is great for an Indian restaurant in small towns..its the best Indian food among many smaller places I tried around the country barring the big cities like Dallas,Austin,New jersey and not judging it based on the multiple big scale authentic restaurants in those places(so keep that in mind about my review) Tried a lot of dishes and everything was good.some of my favorites are Garlic naan🫓 (was yumm with lots of garlic and butter) and served piping hot Chicken curry 🍛 really was homely and tasty Gunter Idly was good but didn’t like the chutney much Biryani was okayish..loved the rice/naan and curry combos more The Highlight was the Lunch Buffet for me..there was a really good variety with lots of veg and non veg options so really loved trying them all. Really surprised to see so many non desi people at all times. Host Kalyan was great with his recommendations and making the place...
Read moreAmazing food got it very quickly and the waitress that showed up for her shift halfway through our meal seemed like she was new but she tried really hard to take care of us quickly. I would have gave 4 or even 5 stars if it had been left there. The man that took our order and delivered the food seemed like he was in a hurry and rushing us and got annoyed with our order. When I order a hundred plus in food and drinks I expect not to be rushed and some questions answered. The water and sodas tasted dirty but that could be the city water. Then he couldn't comprehend we wanted the check split and tried to rush us out the door. I went to tip the waitress because she was sweet and trying hard I don't think she had been trained properly she told me thank you but she isant supposed to accept tips because she is paid minimum wage and the owner would take any tips she made anyway. I will try it one more time In the future because the food is amazing but the service is...
