Marble Slab Creamery — Restaurant in Shreveport

Went here for the first time after our anniversary dinner on Saturday (8/26/23). We will not be back, terrible customer service. Employees sitting on the counters on their phones, no welcome, no hello, blender was broken. I had to ask 3 times for a banana split while three employees just stared at me. One finally made the banana split and it was so overfilled that it was leaking everywhere, I couldn’t even eat it. Then the extra attitude we received when we didn’t tip them was outrageous. Always liked this place was at McDonald's in the drive thru the other day and noticed it seemed kind of dark with no activity around Marble Slab so drive over and found out they were closed. I was surprised because it was one of only two made from scratch ice cream places Shreveport had. So now Coldstone is the only one aside from Baskin Robbins which I'm not to fond of spending half a gallon prices on one scoop of basic ice cream. I know the economy was probably the reason for closing but maybe had it moved off of Youree and Bert Kouns it would have been better. Great Ice Cream...

My wife and I went there on Sunday 08/13/2023 to get some ice cream. The lady that helped my wife did a great job, the gentlemen with the pony tail on top of head gave me a scoop of ice cream that was exactly level with the cup. On top of that, he did a very poor job of mixing in the brownie and chocolate chips in my ice cream. All said and done, I walked away with basically a couple whole chunks of brownie and half mixed chocolate chips in my ice cream. I will go back again, but he can’t help us anymore.
