Went to the Shreveport Louisiana location to get some rubber ducks on good Friday and was told by management that they didn't have the ones I was looking or any at all while pretending to look on his phone for info, even though the website said they did. Sunday Evening I went on line to do an in store pick up and this was on Easter day when there's no stores open. After placing that order, the very next day on Monday Morning at 7a.m. I was told my order was ready. So this tells me that they have the rubber ducks the whole time but they were lazy enough to not put them out! Monday afternoon I went to pick my order up, I show the same manager that I got them and he just made two smart remarks saying I can take a bath with these ducks and FedEx just delivered them. That's nuts, first of all with Sunday Being Easter there's absolutely no way FedEx delivered that quick the very next morning at 7a.m..    Read moreI love Michaels as a store. They offer what is expected. But dealing with the framing department is another story. I brought a picture in that needed a new piece of glass. They took it and told me they would call me when it was ready. I called almost a month later and they told me it was ready and that someone should have called me. Then I was informed they sent off for a custom frame and I had a balance due. I told the person on the phone I didn't order a frame, only a new piece of glass, and the person I was speaking with told me someone said they spoke with me and I confirmed with them to order a new frame because my old frame wouldn't hold the glass anymore. I told her that was untrue and I would like my old frame back because there was no reason why it shouldn't hold the glass unless they damaged it. The ended up putting my old frame back on and glued it together. Out of frustration, I left it as is. It looks fine, but now it will definitely need to be broken in order to remove...
   Read moreWhen I went in today, no one greeted. It was a few minutes before someone acknowledged me. This person was nice enough to lead me to someone in frames that was knowlegable it what I needed. He showed me the frames that I needed and helped with any tools I may need. He also offered additional help if needed. I thanked him and after much deliberation, I picked what was needed, grabbed a basket and loaded them. The person who helped me told me if I needed more frames that the person up front or a manager could call the Bossier store to see if they have any. When I got to the front, I asked her if anyone could check on the additional frames for me. She told me I could look online. I did try this myself after leaving a bit disappointed and I could not find them. I ended up driving to the other store and finding out they didn't have them. A sales person there was nice enough to give me a working sku number to find them...
