Was pretty upset with last nights dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings in Shrewsbury, Ma. It’s started to be a reoccurring event that every time we come there is always an issue of some type. Started when I ordered a beer and usually I’ve always been brought out a regular small or asked if I wanted a tall or a small and they just brought out a tall which is didn’t want but that’s still not their fault I didn’t clarify. Then some of our meals were brought out and none of the meals were correct besides one. No big deal really. Then my friends wings were brought out and they forget one of his order of wings and fries which ended up taking until wayyy after everyone was done eating and even after my birthday dessert came out and no dressing with the wings which he wanted ranch and the wings didn’t even taste good like the first ones. My burger was the black bean burger and they brought out the same burger my friend ordered which was a bbq bacon burger which I have been leaning away from red meat and did not want. I was pretty upset by this point. The meal was brought back and another burger was brought out which was still not even close to the black bean burger that’s on the menu. It was a plain burger with a small slice of cheese on it and that’s it! It blew me away after that they still got my order wrong. The head waitress said sorry we’ll take it off you’re bill and I said I’m all set I finished all my own wings which tasted fine and it’s been so long already. The other waitress came back and took the burger away like nothing happened and didn’t even say a word about it. My other friend also took a long time to get his extra 2 order of wings and seemed cold by the time they came out. We also heard another waitress walk by and swear about her day. Finally the bills come out separated to each person at the table and the bills were wrong and my friend was billed for an extra set of wings he did not order and I was billed for the tall beer and not the replacement bottled beer which is still kinda my fault so I didn’t make a big deal about but then later on they brought me out another bill and claimed I didn’t pay for me beer which I just paid for the tall beer I didn’t drink. We asked to speak to the manager which should have already brought himself out and make sure we were helped out. He insisted on taking the burger off my bill which obvious since I never got what I ordered and said I’m all set after the insanely long wait and brought out two completely wrong burgers but he never tried to assess the situation any further or compensate in any other way. I just wanted them to understand it was a major problem and they took it as pretty minor. The last time I came here orders were taking a while and the waitress one time also had a pretty strong and obvious attitude also. I hope someone can respond to this situation in a timely manner please as I do enjoy Buffalo Wild Wings for the bruins games, Supercross...
Read moreWell we had a gift card from Christmas so we decided to go last night and use it. Party of 5 with a toddler in tow. We went early to try and not have a toddler meltdown. We were the second party waiting when we arrived at 5:30. Three empty tables but told we had to wait. Asked twice how long the wait would be and could not get an answer. As in we asked and the 3 people at the hostess station ignored the question.
After a few minutes the number of staff at the station was five although none of them seemed capable of doing any more than look awkwardly in any direction other than where two parties are waiting for seating with empty tables available or looking at their phones. We were finally seated at one of the empty tables we had been watching for more than fifteen minutes. There were other tables that needed to be cleared but again, lots of standing around and avoiding interacting with customers such as "Thanks for your patience" or It will be a couple more minutes." Something. Anything.
Food was barely ok. Really long wait for some burgers and wings. Constantly missing waiter who was pleasant but mostly absent. Could not get a burger cooked to order, they just do medium well according to the waiter. What is that??? I've gotten better wings at Roche Bros Market.
Water all over the ladies room floor according to the wife who slipped & almost fell. Also no paper towels. This is around 6:30 in the middle of dinner hour. Finally took the check up to the hostess station to settle up due to the missing waiter and was told by one of the hostesses that we can't pay there, have to wait at the table. What??? One of the other hostesses let us pay there but it took her literally five minutes to process two gift cards and a 20 dollar bill. And she asked if I wanted change? Really??
The staff last night was really young. They need some training and an attitude adjustment and fast. The waiter was very friendly but everyone else acted like having customers was a bother. We will NEVER go back to this restaurant. Not even with a gift card. I'll...
Read moreWriting this review after holding back my words mistake after mistake, after mistake. It wasnt the initial time I picked up my food and left half of the order completely out, and then when I went in the bartender was absolutely obnoxious to me. It wasnt the 2 other times after that when they gave me the completely wrong orders, which I caught, but they then had to go and re make my original orders, again with a complete lack of customer service. And, it wasnt when I went in to pick up my order, and the woman working the front desk told me "you didn't order anything". And when I explained to her I had the order receipt on my phone, I was told it wasnt in the system so I clearly didnt order anything. When actually someone in the back accidentally cancelled the order. It's the fact that I went back again tonight, and ordered 2 things, and they provided me with a completely different order once again. Not even a slight mistake, my name printed right on the bag. Just watching the woman at the front completely hating her job giving me a sigh about having to go get my order, and walking away from people in the middle of getting them their reserved table, and the other poor employee coming up to the clients and asking them why they weren't yet, and they couldnt only answer "we dont know. She just walked away".
So thank you Buffalo Wild Wings for screwing up 80% of my orders over only the past 90 days or so. You were an incredibly convenient restaurant to order food from being so close to home. However, the complete lack of customer care or service, and the inability to double check orders before giving them to people is incredibly lacking in restaurant etiquette. When I get off a 12 hour day of work, and pick up something to eat. The last thing I want is to see you guys screwed up again, and have to burn more time going back inside and standing around waiting because you could not appropriately follow the standards you say you have.
