China Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Sidney

We went to the China Garden here in Sidney tonight. The food was awful and you could tell it was out for a long time. We did our best in finding the good food and leave full. The rice was crusty, most of the chicken was hard as a rock. The Chinese bread was a rock and alot of the cold items weren't even cold. When we got our bill it was 30 dollars. It felt wrong to have to pay 30 dollars for old, crusty food. Christian asked the owner if we could just pay lunch price instead of dinner. Which is 6.99 not 9.69 We will still pay for evan and our drinks. But it would be a nice gesture from the owner. The owner stated the food was fine. Christian took him a chicken nugget that was hard, the owner took a bite and spit it right back out. The owner stated he did not care if its bad, we still have to pay full price. He stated he didn't care if we came back, he didn't need our business. He doesn't care what customers think, they've been their for 21 years and he will always have customers. We didn't try to leave with out paying. They were slow and we understand there not going to make a whole buffet of fresh food just to throw out. we just wanted him to acknowledge the food was far from fresh tonight. Instead we were treated with disrespect and was told if we didn't like it, call the cops. I believe it's time for business's to get back to good customer service. To actually caring for their customers. Please join us in boycotting this place for at least a month or two. It's time to send business's the message, it doesn't matter how long you've been in business, you need US to stay. Please pass this around to everyone you know in Sidney. I say we show them what...

My experience was very awful at the China Garden restaurant in Sidney Ohio today I went in there supposedly they just opened a half hour ago I got me some house fried rice I got me some of the big wide noodles and some of the chicken with the broccoli and baby corn and water chestnuts in it I also threw some onions on top I got back to my table I ate one egg roll I got some of the meat on the stick it was dry and hard and cold and I started to eat my noodles and they were ice cold my vegetables were ice-cold my noodles are ice cold I sat there for a minute and then I told the lady if you walked by that my food was ice cold she said we can put it in the microwave for you I'm like are you kidding me I'd like how about some fresh food what it's all fresh because we just opened I told him I wasn't paying for my meal and I got up to leave and she acted like she was going to try to block me from the door you can't just leave without paying I'm not paying for something I didn't eat your food is ice cold she still at the door and act like she wanted to keep me from opening it I left and I was very polite I wasn't rude they watch me walk all the way...

Never again! We were frequent customers until today! My 3 person family arrived at 2.55pm. , they sat us and took our drink order ( which she already knew because we are there every week) we go wash our hands and come back and sit( waiting until 3:05 ) we make a salad. 5 min later she brings the bill. I tell her it is incorrect because we were there for dinner.. She REFUSED to change it because the computer said we were there at 2:56! We had to pay both lunch and dinner if we wanted to stay. She could have voided it and reeneterd it but she chose to give us a 4 min lunch.. I have to say that was a pricey half...
