Update: After saying I'd never stop here again, I decided after a few years to try again, wrong choice! My server Angel, was the best part, very friendly & polite. Food: I ordered dinner plate special: Turkey was paper thin, (worst I've ever had), 1st thing I noticed before plate was set down, you could tell it was completely dried out & for whatever weird reason, it was balanced on top of my stuffing, strange! Plenty of room on the plate, made me wonder if it had even fallen off & put back on the plate, ewww. Stuffing wasn't terrible, not hot & as good as it used to be. Really went downhill, shame on management! Won't be back! Here we go again! I went in on 11/26/20 for Thanksgiving, thought I'd get myself a turkey meal to go, what a mistake. I ordered fairly quickly, decided to wait, I called ahead, they said perfectly fine that I walk in to order. I couldn't believe the people walking in with no mask or putting a mask on while standing close to me, ignorant! Then, I peaked in bag to make sure I got what I ordered since was pricey for 1 single platter. After realizing what bag was mine, I was concerned, I think it had sat awhile, which made no sense, I was visible to them the entire time after placing my order. I didn't get the pumpkin bread, nor the strawberry jam. The green beans literally looked like someone threw a spoonful (took a pic of them) in the container, I said something to the cashier, she gave me more green beans. I went about 2 min. down the road, parked to eat, EVERYTHING was COLD! I was livid! I called, couldn't get my money back unless I went back in, since on a charge card. I drove back, decided to get another platter, IF food was hot. By the time I got back to the car, I just was upset with it all. I was alone for the holiday, so it would've meant the world to get what I ask for & the hot foods actually be hot. The 2nd order was better, the dressing wasn't more than warm though. The cashier kept calling me constantly sweetheart. I am 63, don't think that is ok. Ma'am is quite acceptable. Now, hours later, am sitting here sick from the food! I need to stay away from eating here, what a shame, I used to love eating at Bob Evans. Not my 1st bad experience either. The manager did try to make it right, of course, I felt bad that I was upset with them, everyone was working hard to make sure everyone had their food, so it all just ruined my "special...
Read moreThey are tremendously understaffed. They no longer have a hostess. You have to wait until one of the servers.See you and .If they want to take your order if they have time for you. They're only using one side of the kitchen. The server said that the other gill was broke down. However, the manager said they just don't have the staff to run it. They're only allowed to put in orders every 5 minutes. So if somebody's already put an order in, you've got to wait 5 minutes, it's programmed on a computer. So if they go do something else, it may take 20 minutes before they get there. If another waitress gets in front of them.we waited an hour and 12 minutes to get cold undone.Food. manager was very palgetic, said we didn't have to pay. I hope not didn't eat it either. And that's when the manager said that they were tremendously understaffed and can only have staff to accommodate one side of the kitchen normally, there's 2 sides working back in the day. The waitress is the one that said there was a timer on and she could only put her order in every 5 minutes. So she had to rotate, it was very sad. Waitresses are working themselves to death because either they're not trained, they bring out coffee and no silverware. So they have to run back,.you order coffee with cream. Then, they have to run back and get the cream. You ask for biscuits with honey and butter and they need yo ho back didn't bring it. Gentleman crossed from us, had toast, and she had to go back and get jelly. That hurts the service and wears the server out. I can't say it's common sense. But if you're going to bring someone coffee and they've asked for cream and sugar, even though sugar's on the table you think that they wonder, how are you going to stir it? They need to...
Read more(Most recent, 04/07/25) UPDATE: 3rd x in here in past 2 mos. Will probably not be back. 1st, the waitress called me "Sweets", really? Then the grilled chicken was a joke again, how small it was, the dinner rolls were not warm and barely baked (they should at least look a little golden brown on top) and lastly, waitress never came back (were NOT busy, plus many tables dirty!), I had to go up to get the bill. I miss how Bob Evans was 2011 and before!!!!!! Review from past 2 mos: Was here twice recently. Ordered the 8.99 grilled chicken plate the 1st time, chicken pc was the smallest EVER! It had good flavor, but after eating the entire meal, went home still hungry! Stopped again on Friday the 21st, ordered the same except ordered a 2nd pc of chicken. The dinner rolls not only immediately looked very different, they were like hockey pucks, hard, dry and worst EVER! Had I dined alone, I would have said to bring fresher rolls. Bob Evans should've never changed from the original dinner rolls, always very good, larger, definitely back then, was a "treat" to get. Also said separate bills, got only one which was awkward, we managed, since I (thank goodness) had cash to pay for my own to the other person. I also refuse to pay $3.39 for a single coffee, regardless of...
