Kroger — Local services in Sidney

I come here weekly & spend plenty of money! I usually have no issues, maybe out of stock once in a while but that happens. Today I go in get my grocery’s , mind you this was about my 5th and final errand of the day & I was thinking in and out! Didn’t pay attention to lanes only those shortest. I see a lady who looks familiar as I come here often so my thoughts are “oh she’s pretty quick I’ll go through her lane” well as she starts ringing up she expresses is this all one order, I say yes it is. Puzzled still , thinking why is she asking me this. I’m like yes this is mine. She then says this is an express lane, I don’t have a bagger ect ect. Angry as it appears I apologize, truly didn’t even realize it or pay attention as I usually do! Was an honest mistake! I bagged my own grocery’s and apologized again ! As she crushed all my grocery’s together! By that point I really should have just left the stuff and walked out! RUDE!! I can tell you this! I’ll make a point to NEVER go through her lane again! Have been shopping here for years. The last couple of interactions have been unpleasant to say the least. My wife and myself needed a last minute item late at night. Went to the store got turned away because its 10 mins before closing. Didn't make any fuss turned around and the young gentleman behind said he only needed 1 item and they let him in. So I didn't think that was right but okay. So my wife go in again and over the intercom wr get told 30 mins to closing and everyone needs to grab their items and check out. So 6 self checks was open 1 was broken so 5 was open. Many customers had full carts and the store didn't open lane 7 until most customers was already scanning their own carts. On the way out over the intercom 15 mins until store closes and I said maybe should open more lanes or maybe store workers could help. I got told by a store worker that lane 7 is open that's good enough. Thank you sidney kroger...

Shopping at Kroger is always a good experience. They have many items to choose from and the Gourmet items are plentiful. The meat selections are always top quality. Love shopping at Kroger.

11-23-2022 This year for Thankgiving, we decided to order the Prime Rib meal that is supposed to feed 6 -8 people. We had already paid for it a few days prior to picking it up. At 11:45 am today we stopped in to pick it up. The lady opened the box so we could see the contents. Well let me tell you......the Prime Rib is only enough for 3 people. So so disappointing. When I questioned it the lady said that's what they gave us. The meat is not enough for 6-8 people. There are 5 of us and not enough meat to go around. Plenty of sides, not meat. For 90.00 dollars I should at least have enough meat to serve for Thankgiving!!!!!!! I will not buy a holiday meal from them again. In the long run I guess I should give thanks for...
