I dont normally go to this restaurant as I have always had issues. I decided to go because my kids requested it. I ordered my food and it wasnt an issue. I got to the window and noticed I paid a little extra for my items ordered. I parked my car and went back in to figure out what the extra charges are for. The young lady Cheila that took my order and charged me, did not seem she wanted to help me when I asked her about my ticket. She started going through the costs of what I ordered while looking for my order ticket. I just went through the drive thru, and there were only two orders before me inside the shop. She had at least 8 or 9 tickets laid out. She kept telling me that my extra charges were for the extra items (condiments) i ordered. On my receipt it showed I have those items on there but no price next to those items supposedly charged. This has happened before where I am charged for "extra" items but cannot seem to prove what those extra items costs are. Cheila said they had a new system that doesnt print the extra charges onto your receipt, so for all I know my extra charge could have gone anywhere else since it was not on my receipt. I paid for $27.00 worth of food but got charged $32.00 (rounded to nearest whole dollar). The girl did not want to deal with it, by rustling random tickets she removed from her ticker holder. I can see she wasnt going to try and fix the situation, so I left frustrated and no one to help with the issue. It may not seem like a big deal to a lot of people but if a business is going to charge you for something you should have the right to know what youre paying for. As a consumer you should know where youre money is going. If you decide to go there, be sure that you are indeed paying for what you ordered and it is reflected on your ticket. They say its for "extra" condiments but I only see that I was charged for two cheese and one pico de gallo (no charge amount next to the items). Even so, those three items at most should not come to an extra $5.00 charge that cannot be proved. Be wary of where your dollars are going. You may or may not be paying for what...
Read moreI've been coming here once a week for breakfast burritos for about a year now. Most of the time, I have no problem with ordering and receiving the burritos the way I want them. Lately, however, I've been coming home with the food made incorrectly (wrong ingredients). This happened 4 times. I'm not sure if it was a language issue or a lousy drive-thru order communication system. It got to the point where I gave up on the drive thru and started going inside to order.
My last time there, I tried to order the burritos the same way I have in the past (and everywhere else that I've ordered breakfast burritos for the past 30 years). However, this time, the lady working the counter just didn't get it. She seemed to be able to speak fluent English, unlike some of the folks working there. Anyways, she finally figured it out on the fourth try. (Turns out she was the manager, (Yikes!)).
Then she tried to overcharge me ($23 - I paid $19 in the past). I mentioned this, and she 'corrected' her mistake. Then she asked me for $25! I tried to point out that was too much, but she wasn't having it and finally just handed me my card back.
I left and drove across the street to another Mexican food place. I placed my order the same way I did with her. I got exactly what I wanted, all for $5 less.
If you insist on going here, I suggest you don't order it your way. Just stick to their menu. Otherwise, there are a lot of better places to eat in town without the negative attitude, hassle, and...
