From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with the inviting aroma of freshly baked pastries and the rich scent of high-quality coffee, setting the tone for a delightful experience.
Ambiance & Decor:
The ambiance at Merci Café is nothing short of enchanting. The interior is tastefully designed, blending modern elegance with rustic French charm. Think soft pastel colors, vintage wooden furniture, and tasteful floral arrangements that transport you straight to a cozy café in Paris. Large windows allow natural light to flood the space, creating a bright and airy atmosphere that's perfect for a morning coffee or an afternoon catch-up with friends. There’s also a lovely seating area where you can enjoy your treats al fresco, surrounded by French decor.
The Food:
The star of Merci Café is undoubtedly its food. The bakery offers an impressive selection of classic French pastries, each more tempting than the last. The croissants are buttery and flaky, with just the right amount of crispiness on the outside and a soft, tender interior. The pain au chocolat is a must-try, with its rich, dark chocolate filling encased in a perfectly baked pastry. For those with a sweet tooth, the éclairs and macarons are divine—delicate, flavorful, and exquisitely presented.
In addition to pastries, Merci Café also serves a variety of savory options. The quiches are a personal favorite—light, flavorful, and packed with fresh ingredients. Their sandwiches, made with freshly baked baguettes, are equally impressive, offering a delightful blend of textures and flavors that satisfy your taste buds.

As a coffee lover, I can confidently say that Merci Café serves some of the best coffee in town. Whether you prefer a classic espresso, a creamy latte, or a rich cappuccino, the baristas here know their craft and consistently deliver a perfect cup. The coffee is smooth, full-bodied, and perfectly balanced—just what you need to complement the delectable pastries.

Now, onto the food. Although we were too eager to taste some dishes and missed taking photos of everything, the flavors more than made up for it. We started with the homemade Pâté, served with two slices, gherkin pickles, and a fresh side salad, an excellent start.
I indulged in the croque madame, complete with a perfectly cooked egg, which was absolutely delicious. My dad, a former chef, tried the vegetable puff pastry and was thoroughly impressed, which says a lot coming from him.
For dessert, I had the raspberry éclair, and it was heavenly! The cream, paired with fresh raspberries, and the perfectly balanced dough were a delight. My dad chose the almond croissant and was equally impressed by its texture, flavors, and ideal flakiness.
Their coffee, imported from France and known as Cafes Richard, has been a staple since 1892. It’s a must-try for any coffee connoisseur, rich, flavorful, and expertly roasted.
They also offer a selection of wines and beers from France. If you haven’t tried them before, this is the perfect opportunity. You won’t want to miss out on these authentic and delightful beverages.

From the moment we walked in, hungry and ready to conquer the menu, we were welcomed like friends. Arnaud, the owner, is a gem of a human being, radiating French charm and hospitality. And Laura (I think it was Laura??) is a mimosa magician—she convinced us to swap the usual for a blueberry liqueur and sparkling wine combo, and WOW. Life. Changing.
Now, let’s talk food. Every. Single. Bite. Was. Glorious. The Croque Monsieur? A masterpiece of melty, crispy perfection. The ham and bacon cheese omelet? Fluffy, cheesy bliss. The Eggs Benedict with ham on a croissant with that hollandaise? I nearly cried tears of joy.
And because it was Valentine’s Day (and because we have zero self-control), we somehow found room for six macarons (yes, six) AND an almond croissant. Did we need them? No. Did we regret it? Absolutely not. Every bite was out of this world.
Oh, and the cappuccino? Flawless.
Merci Cafe, I love you. We will be back—probably tomorrow. Run, don’t walk, to this little...
