Escape Room Sarasota — Local services in Siesta Key

My family was traveling from the Raleigh area to Anna Maria island for our kid's spring break. It happened to rain one day and we took the opportunity to try out this escape room. We utilized an online discount site to gain a better rate.

We went to the cabin in the woods room. However, before we arrived we noticed we were going to be about five minutes late. My wife called and mentioned we'd be late by a few minutes and the worker had stated that we'd loose minutes on the room as there was a sign in process as well as a video that needed to be watched before entering the room. With that said, be sure to get there at least 10 minutes early.

Regarding the room, since we arrived late we only started with 50 minutes (I don't blame this on management). It was challenging yet doable with the allotted time. The room had different types of clues, challenges and puzzles that maintained the whole families interest. You get three "clues" or helps to assist when you get stuck.

This Escape Room was awesome! We had a group of 6 that did the Cabin in the Woods themed room and was truly challenged throughout the entire hour. We made it out in the last 3 mins of the room with many laughs and goofy panicked fun in between. Also the staff member that helped us around 2pm on Sunday May 19th (I am so sorry I did not get her name) was beyond nice and really helped us fix our reservation mix up! I was very appreciative of her and she also did a wonderful job of explaining the room rules, the room theme and lock types to us! We certainly plan to be back to try one of the other room options when we are back in town! You never really know how well these escape rooms will go since so many have popped up in the past few years but this one was worth the money and it really was a highlight...

I took my husband for the first time. Had never heard of this kind of place. I guess I'm getting a little old. Lol. No bit really a friend told me about it so I thought it would be an interesting and fun. Well, we had a blast. Thought before entering the room we would be out in no time. Boy was I wrong but that made it that much more fun and interesting. I look forwarded to going again. The staff was very helpful. They were very pleasant when asked the same questions more then once by each party. I guess we were waiting for different answers or clues prior to going in. That didn't happen. Lol. They were a pleasure. I would recommend for a group of co-workers. This could even be used as a training tool to start getting them to work together for the same goal, but it's just fun for...
