Stopped in for happy hour 🍻
Ambience: 10/10 Very clean and welcoming! Lots of seating and doggy friendly. There is an outdoor area but it seems it’s for private parties? Not sure because there didn’t appear to be any seating that I could see. Not dark but not overly bright either, no loud music playing. Great for family time.
Service: 10/10 Heather was my server and she was so sweet and patient with me. She was knowledgeable of the menu. The bartender was on top of all the drink orders and had them ready as soon as I ordered them, she could hear me order from my table. I believe it was a manager that walked around and checked in the few patrons that were present, which was very comforting.
Food: 7/10 Happy hour was decent, the prices were fair for our inflation has ruined most low-cost items. I ordered chips and salsa which is claimed to be freshly made every day, but I'm not so sure. If it is then I highly recommend chopping cilantro fresh and mixing it in (not blend it) so it can have a much more fresh flavor. The flavor was ok and since it's not a Mexican restaurant it's understandable. The 6-piece wings were ok, I ordered lemon pepper. It was slightly over seasoned but not enough to make it inedible. What I didnt like is it had a flavor of sitting in the fridge, but I'm the only person (except one other person I've ever met) that can taste such a thing. I still ate them all because I love wings and beer. The best thing I ordered was the jalapeño cilantro humus!! 10/10 perfection and the pita bread was so soft! I would come back just for this! I ordered spaghetti as takeout for my daughter and she loved it! 10/10 but she didn’t eat the meatballs (she’s not a fan so it’s not the meatballs fault).
Overall I would come back again, the service and ambience is phenomenal, the food is good enough to warrant a return. Look forward to...
Read moreWe came here from an online recommendation.
Pros: Our server, Atticus, was awesome! He was attentive and really nice. The staff in general here were really nice. We noticed a leak as we were leaving and they were quick to look in to it.
The establishment is pretty cool looking, clean, and had a nice vibe.
Cons: The food. We got the Brisket (weekend special) and Almost Reuben Sandwich. The Brisket was WAYYYY too salty and dry (I'm talking like chewy, crispy brisket)... There were a couple salvageable pieces and I ate those. The BBQ sauce that was served with it tasted like ketchup... Atticus brought out a honey BBQ sauce when I mentioned this and that was a bit better. The cornbread and honey butter were good, but really that's not what I get a meal for. The sidewinder fries (that they upcharge for) taste good at first and you quickly become overwhelmed by the salt. Fortunately I asked about the other sides and if they were made in house, so I'll just say the macaroni salad isn't that great, but it's not homemade anyhow. The Almost Reuben was OK, but they served it with 1000 Island on the side instead of on it, so it wasn't really anything special.
There's a teeny, tiny sign at the front that I fortunately spotted upon arrival... They charge 3% for using a card instead of cash. I'll honestly be glad when the bill goes in to effect in July regarding these extra service charges. Their prices are already on the high end (especially given the poor quality of food). Our bill was $51 for just the 2 items...
Read moreThe place is gorgeous. Everything else is not as much.. I heard they had a eating area designated for people with pets ..
It didn't seem like they were too happy with my dogs there.
Although they said water bowls were on the way, they never showed up. Even after I order both my pups a burger patty & rice conbo. I had to oour my water on a plate so they could dribk. Not to pet friendly.
I ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich meal & a burger combo. .. nothing special about the food. I was expecting Big Nicks BBQ sauce & chicken and Big Nicks Famous Ranch dressing... ☹️🫣 They didn't have either. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT
Their ranch & BBQ sauce were both bottled store bought average.
The attentiveness was lacking even though it was 830pm on a Wednesday. With maybe 4 other sittings of people. ( I get it, everyone wants to go home..)
They had a few people singing karaoke.. I may have joined in if I was given any info or invited. But no one there even batted an eye on trying to get us involved.
I order nachos as an appetizer but to my surprise it wasn't tortilla chips .. they were made from curly fries. Or "curly potato wedges" .. would have been delicious if the potatoes were cooked thoroughly.
Plenty of parking Lots of daily specials
Maybe I went in on a bad night.. I'll give them another try the place is too nice to be...
