The only reason they can't never get 5 stars is their staffing and scheduling! They may be limited by the corporation how many people they can staff, but I really think it's management who does not know how to schedule people. You can go in there at certain times of the day and they're just standing over each other. And then you go on the busy times of the day and there's nobody in there and they're all running their hearts out trying to get people served. I don't know why you have 15 people at 3 in the afternoon and three people at 8 in the evening in the summer. I made those numbers up, but that's how I've noticed it tends to happen. You can go in there in the late afternoon and they have a bunch of people in there just wondering around. You go in the evening and the drive-thru is wrapped around the building. But if you go when they're not rushed making their food it's always good. We went the other day in the late afternoon and got chalupas and tacos. We couldn't believe how good the chalupas were. It was the best looking chalupas I've ever gotten there. The actual shell or whatever you call that outside part LOL was perfect and fresh and now I know what it's supposed to be like. I wonder why that's the first time I've ever gotten that? I haven't eaten a bunch of them but I love them. What I like about Taco Bell as they are always willing to separate the things that make it soggy. I cannot eat the amount of food that comes in one of the meals. And I like to eat it over a couple of days. And they will put the wet stuff in separate containers for me. I do not ask them to do that when they're backed up with a drive-thru around the building LOL if it's like that I just order a taco or whatever for that meal. Read moreYesterday I placed an online pickup order around 11:18am. I went to pick up my order and the entire store was closed. They were deep cleaning so I did get an explanation for that, however in the app it said order received and was being made which confused me. 20 minutes go by and I notice they have drive thru operations going. So I call and ask if I can have my order made that I already placed and hadn't picked up yet. I was brushed off and told that I'd just have to ask for a refund from taco bell customer service. I had proof of payment and even proof saying my food was ready. I wasted my free reward for the free Mexican pizza because of the IOU from the super bowl. I tried telling the staff that the order was already paid for and even gave them my order number. They still refused to give me my order and continued to tell me to call customer support to get a refund. Well I did and it took 2 hours of being on hold to even get ahold of customer service. They reassured me that it was totally unacceptable that they didn't give me my order when I provided proof. I still haven't gotten my reward back like was promised and my refund is still no where to be seen. I'm extremely frustrated with the lack of customer service and I'm ashamed that I was even a loyal customer to this franchise with this much Bs going on. I understand something happens yesterday but you should've turned off your POS so no one could place mobile orders and save the frustration. I just wanted my food. Read more10-15-17 UPDATE: just went here again 3 months later, disappointed even worse this time. First off, we waited in the drive thru line for 17 minutes because they kept messing the people's order up in front of us. Im not exaggerating either, we timed it. Ive never had to wait in a drive thru for that long, it blew my mind. Then we get up there and pay and get a receipt and TWO of the items on the receipt are wrong. We knock on the window and tell the guy and he goes and tells them. He comes back and says he told them and it's the same price they're just going to change it. Then 5 minutes later we get our food, and after the last trip of course I checked the bag and the idiots didn't give us what they were supposed to, they gave us the messed up order!!! We gave them a second chance and it was even worse this time. We will NEVER go back to this Taco Bell.
7-4-17 Just went here, ordered a beefy Frito burrito no rice, guess what? Receipt says no rice but there's rice on it. We also ordered a steak doubledilla and it's a giant tortilla folded in half!!!!! It's not cut into the pieces like it should be?!?! We are having to rip it apart to eat it.
