First off, the place is very hard to find and don’t even get me started with the difficulty of finding parking any place close. You need to go through a special door that has 33 on it, but you get there through another restaurant. Crazy, but worth the trouble of finding Mick’s 33! Once you walk inside, the awesome atmosphere makes the adventure of finding Mick’s 33 seem not so bad…. The live music from the ceiling is pretty cool too!!! It’s a quaint, romantic little gem hidden in downtown Silver City. The food choices are excellent and the portion sizes are large. The steaks are well seasoned and full of bold flavors. The salads and wings are very good as well. If you don’t mind the adventure of finding Mick’s 33, you will find this restaurant a Silver City must try!!!

Tallyah Q’s Southern Bistro or the Mic’s 33 Lounge We ate on a covered patio. Tallyah was our server who will one day, I predict, own her own restaurant because of her attention to detail and her winning smile. Started off with 4 crab cakes. Very tasty. The three of us all picked fish dinners. Two rainbow trout and one organic salmon. All dinners came with several choices. We each picked a salad. The two trout meals added asparagus while the salmon got mashed potatoes. All delicious Full bar available and on our evening there was live music.

This place is quite interesting to visit. Feels like and old time speak easy because you really have to find the place. The menu is very nice. The reviews are very mixed. We visited Mick's twice in the last month. Seems a big turnover in staff. Both times we had new waitresses that really didn't know the menu. We waited over 50 min just to get our salads. The food came out in about 65 min. In the end most dishes we had tasted good. Several needed simple seasoning like S & P. I might give it another try.

We were so excited to visit Mick's 33 for the second time to Silver City in about a year and a half. Our first experience was a 5 star all the way. This time, the bartender was even able to make a Sazerac my husband's request. The Caesar salad was good and my broccoli cheese soup was good as well. Then came the long wait. It was not as if they were crowded on a Saturday night. Only 3 tables were occupied. Eight diners total at 3 tables. That should have been a sign for us. And we waited and waited for our food. The waitress apologized for the long delay. Finally our dinners arrived. I tasted my husband's mashed potatoes and asked the waitress if they were supposed to be cold. No she said and quickly took the plate back to the kitchen. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi. The pasta was good but the shrimp were rubbery. My husband's sirloin steak and warmer potatoes came back. He had trouble cutting through his steak. It was cooked properly just wasn't quality meat(very fatty) and lacked flavor. So disappointing especially since this was his birthday meal. The check came and already included an 18%tip. I charged the bill and the waitress brought the ticket back to me with a blank for an additional tip(If you weren't paying attention you certainly could have innocently signed for another tip-pretty sneaky in my book) We have praised and recommended this restaurant to our neighbors traveling to Silver especially since we leave in Cruces. We will not be going back to this restaurant again. It was a huge disappointment and a big rip-off, I spent...

The food is good albeit highly overpriced. One of the appetizers we ordered was a large bowl of very tasty sauteed mushrooms with a few scant pieces of toast. We requested more toast and were charged $5 for a few more small pieces. I thought it strange with the exorbitant entree prices on the menu, they would need to be greedy with bread. The atmosphere was nice enough in appearance, but every time someone opened the door, the small dining area was flooded with the smell of marijuana smoke from the establishment next door. There were ceiling fans on over the dining tables that made the food chill quickly. The wait staff and bartender were all extremely pleasant and helpful. The seating was organized in a way that was conducive to private conversation and I enjoyed the evening overall. However, I don't foresee returning often and likely only when it's chosen by others due...

Mick's 33 Lounge was a pleasant surprise. It took me a while to find it! I couldn't see it driving by, but found it when I was walking by. The location is rather obscure. The decor is warm and intimate and has cloth table coverings! The gentleman playing ambiant music on the guitar complemented the cozy atmosphere. The menu has something for everyone. My husband got steak and lobster tail and I got salmon. Both dishes were very good; you know, one of those dishes you'd order again. For dessert we shared a HUGE piece of cheesecake...OMG! The prices were very acceptable for what we received. Our server was so proficient and kind, we couldn't have asked for better. I will definitely be frequenting this restaurant, and I highly recommend that you do too!

*Definitely make...
