While the service was prompt and friendly the food was definitely lacking. My husband ordered the eggs benedict and the hollandaise is house made but the sauce had broken so was a bit like scrambled eggs. It was also extremely lemony, too much so for the dish. I ordered the eggs, beans, and potatoes plate with ham. The ham was very thin sliced more fit for a sandwich, the scrambled eggs were basically an omelet cooked quite hard and then chopped up, and the potatoes and beans had a lot of liquid, I had to use a napkin to mop up my plate. We ordered 3 different meals. The biscuits and gravy came out with the biscuits still ice cold, like they were frozen. The pancakes were almost inedible. And the green chilli eggs beans and potatoes had so much liquid on the plate it was more like a stew not a breakfast plate. Kept waiting for the waitress to come back after dropping the food off, and she never did. When I asked for the check after waiting 30 minutes and I mentioned the food and her not coming back, her response was “I didn’t have time to come back”.
