In-depth review as a gamer. I went with my wife and only played the co-op games with 135 credits (CR), plus the card fee at $28 with 15 bonus CR. 150 CR at 8 CR avg. per game equals 8.5 co-op plays within 40 minutes.
Difficulty: They need to nerf the settings a bit, becuase these games are set way too difficult, when you just want to enjoy it. Each game should last 2.5 minutes, that would be great with the high cost, because you'll blow through your CR quickly.
Game Reviews with credit and time estimates for more detail.
Halo (9.2 CR 1.5 min.): Beautiful game, but no dodging or personal energy shields. You'll just keep getting hit till your dead. Elites have high shields, takes a bit to kill one. If you play together on one side, don't worry about the other side, you take no damage from the other screen, fyi! Its ok, but needs more life or less damage setting.
Ghostbusters (7.5 CR 1 min.): This machine ate my credits so one person only played it, its not a game but a timed ghost catching game for tickets. No action in it, the marshmellow man ends your game instantly. Waste of time. The gun was stiff and terrible to hold. Don't play it!
Walking Dead (7.5 CR 2 min.): Someone left the game and we just freeloaded, but surprisingly, you take little damage per hit. Reload is annoying, as you pull back the crossbow. But its a headshot game, if you cant aim, its going to be hard. Its ok to play.
Jurassic Park (7.5 CR 3 min.): Great gun control and accuracy. They should turn off that civilian damage or lower it, becuase we weren't killed by dino's, but kept hitting the NPC's, the game constantly throws them at you. Good game, but NPC's damaged has to be tuned down.
Luigi's Mansion (7.5 CR 25 sec.): Terrible concept, you have to flash them with a light then attack, its difficult when you can only attack so many at one time. 3 hits and your out. 3 ghosts on the screen and we couldn't handle it without getting hit. Players need more health!
House of the Dead (7.5 CR 10 sec.): We instantly died the first few seconds. The zombie somehow held me down and I never did anything, my wife couldn't help because she was attacked, then zombies don't go down easily, she had a bazooka! Didn't help… 3 hits and your out! Way too hard and quick!
Mario Kart (7.5 CR 2 min.): Its Mario Kart, no comment, best game all around! Fun courses and great graphics.
Cruisin' Racing (7.5 CR 2 min.): Classic Cruisin' USA with bright colors and exotic cars. Selection is terrible becuase it gives many options with less than 15 sec. to do it. Games ok though. Add more selection time!
Piano (6.8 CR 10 sec.): Didn't even know it was a ticket game, I thought it was a musical game. You get like less than 10 second to play along the keys and thats it! Wth? Not worth it. Thought it was like DDR for your hands with 2 minute songs!
This will only be a one time thing. Setting are too hard to just enjoy as first timers on a budget, which is made for you to play it many times. But its expensive if your not careful. If it was a bit cheaper, it would curve the difficulty part. Its ok...but just a one time visit. I prefer games to last a bit longer.
Also mostly only racing, shooting, and ticket games. No adventure or action (side-scrolling). Those smartphone adapted games need to go, too expensive for such a game. Use the space for actual arcade games...
Read moreCame in on 2/22/25 (around 6pm) on a solo outing by myself I am a woman of African descent, dark skin and aged in my 30's. I wore an orange shirt, gold hoop earrings, cat eye glasses, jeans, and had my hair straight. I came into the game room to play only. I lost my gold hoop earring.
I went to the front restaurant area (adjacent to the bar next to the star wars game) to ask if anyone has seen my gold hoop earring. There was a group of lady waitresses that were in the 20-40's age group. I approached a waitress that was standing at the host stand.
She was of a light skinned complexion -possibly bi/multi racial ethnic background. She was petite, and had black hair styled in a bun. She stood at the host stand and as I began to speak, to inquire about my earring and assistance to find it, this waitress, turned to the other standing waitresses on the side of the host stand and asked of Maria the hostess who was not present. As she asked for Maria, she walked away from me pretending as if I wasn't there. The other waitresses standing there just smirked and smiled because this waitress did not want to assist me.
She did not greet me. She did not ask how she could help me. She did not attempt to assist me nor explain her odd behavior. She could've have greeted me when I tried to ask if my earring. The other waitresses stood there and smiled as if her action was funny. I took offense to their behavior.
Maria appears after she is called. She begins to briefly assist me. I explain to her my earring situation and tells me to ask the front desk on the other side. I tell her that her colleague's behavior was unprofessional.
I got lucky and found a game room attendant and he helped me look around to no avail. While I appreciated his help, and the friendliness of the other staff members. (I have attended the bar on some occasions.)I didn't appreciate the first waitress to turn around and ignore me nor the other standing waitresses.
I found the waitresses behavior to be catty, rude, disrespectful, unprofessional and uncalled for.
I am only giving an extra star because of the game room attendant. When I spoke to him about how I went to the host stand for assistance, I informed him how the ladies there behaved unprofessionally.
Generally, I have good experiences at D&B but that waitresses behavior rubbed me the wrong way especially as I was looking forward to experience happy hour here on my next...
Read moreThis evening, I brought my family to the Silver Spring location, excited to enjoy dinner together. Sadly, the experience was incredibly disappointing.
My mother was indecisive about what she wanted, so we began with drinks and appetizers while we decided on entrées. Our server, Autumn, took our order and brought the appetizers, but then completely disappeared. For over 40 minutes, we sat waiting, without plates for our food, without extra napkins, and without a single check-in to see how things were going. We finally had to ask another staff member to find her, and when she did return, she laughed and said she was rolling silverware.
As someone who works in restaurant management, I know side work is important—but it should never come before taking care of guests. To completely neglect a table, never check if appetizers were okay, and fail to take entrée orders is unacceptable. It’s not just bad service, it shows a lack of care and awareness for the guest experience.
What made this worse was Autumn’s response when I gently gave her the same advice I’d give one of my own servers: that she should have checked on us and rolling silverware wasn’t a good reason to leave guests waiting. Instead of taking that feedback with professionalism, she got defensive and gave us attitude. That reaction, after already dropping the ball, was disappointing and disrespectful.
My family and I would have happily ordered more food, easily adding another $60–$80 to the check. Instead, we left frustrated and let down. Dining out is meant to be enjoyable and memorable in the best way—not for being ignored, left waiting, and then met with rudeness.
This was not the experience I expected, and it left a sour impression on what should have been a nice family night out. I hope management takes this seriously, because no guest should feel this way after spending their time...
