Service: I visited All Set Seafood with two friends, and despite the website suggesting a reservation, we walked in without any issues. I live nearby and have noticed it's rarely more than 50% full, so walking in should generally be fine. We were seated quickly and attended to promptly. Our server was a bit hands-off, not checking on us much during the meal, but the other waitstaff frequently offered us water, which was appreciated.
Taste: The menu is somewhat limited but offers everything you might need for a satisfying seafood meal. We initially wanted mussels, but they were out, so we started with oysters instead. They were fresh and paired well with the sauces provided. For the main course, we ordered the lobster roll with sweet potato fries, Pan Seared Trout Crab Meunière, and the seafood pasta. All the dishes came out within 10 minutes and were flavorful with manageable portions. The prices are reasonable for seafood, though it’s not the cheapest option.
Ambiance: All Set Seafood has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, making it a great spot for a casual meal with friends. The restaurant is not usually crowded, so it’s easy to enjoy a meal without feeling rushed or cramped. The environment is perfect for those who want a low-key dining experience with quality seafood.
Recommendation: Overall, All Set Seafood is a solid choice for a seafood meal with friends. The food is tasty, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is laid-back. While the service could be a bit more attentive, the quality of the food and drinks makes up for it. I've already returned with a friend, so it's definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood...
Read moreThis was honestly one of the worst experiences I have had in a long time. I am making this post for the restaurant to make improvements.
We entered the restaurant at about 1hr before closing. We were hungry and ready to just eat and be done with our evening. The hostess was perfect. The runners filled our glasses with water and such. Our server was nowhere to be found for at least 15 mins. We placed our drink orders and our food orders. The food came out first. And another 10+ mins went by and our drinks still had not been placed on the table. I started to get up to find the server and he was finally coming to the table with our drinks.
The server then vented to us about how he had to "go through hell" to get our drinks. That wasn't necessary at all. Just acknowledge the wait and apologize and move on. That would be much classier of an experience.
The food was 50/50. The smoked wings were 86-ed. So we had the old bay wings.... they were overly salty. The ribs were actually really good. The burger was a great proportion.
Now while closing the check the group was calculating the tip and the server decided to stand right over us. This is in addition to whispering, he clearly couldn't read the room that his presence wasn't welcome at that moment. It's customary to let the host discuss the tip in privacy. The server just ruined the experience. The attitude we got was he wasn't thrilled to have another table so close to closing and then wanted to rush the party out. If this is acceptable behavior, I suggest management limit seating to end 90 mins to closing because the behaviors exhibited would...
Read moreOn Easter Sunday my family and I came to this restaurant. Reservations were made for a party of 25 atleast a month in advance. This was my first dining experience at the restaurant and was looking forward to it. We were immediately served water and received our drinks. Our party sat at five tables and we were notified that the tabs were based on the seating arrangements. After ordering the food, I noticed that after 30-45 minutes the other four tables were served. I watched other people come in, be seated, and LEAVE, and after more than an hour my table was served. My table consisted of four hungry kids and two adults. After being served, I took my child to the restroom to come back to see everyone in our party at the other tables with their take out bags and the waitress asked if we wanted togo boxes. We didn’t have an opportunity to enjoy the food, not to mention the waitress kept forgetting to get stuff for us like plates for appetizers and dressing for a salad. I then asked to speak to the manager who only gave $40 off of a bill that was atleast $240 because he gave the host a gift card who was not affected by the delay in the kitchen. Not once did anyone come over to apologize or check on my table. I did not feel good paying a bill for food that took so long to come out and I didn’t really get a chance to enjoy the food because everyone was done by the time we were served. The manager also kept pointing out that they normally don’t take large parties and that’s just poor customer service because YOU DID. I will never step foot in that restaurant and demand a full refund for poor...
