Moorenko's Ice Cream Café — Restaurant in Silver Spring

My first time there today. It was awesome! Over 24 ice cream flavors & 6 sorbet flavors to choose from so my husband could indulge in his ice cream fetish & my lactose-intolerant self could get my did also. The staff was so friendly & helpful, making recommendations & offering to let us try before we buy...another great reason to love them. Their suggestions & comments were spot on! I had raspberry, lemon & mango sorbet & they were some of the best I've had & I'm really picky as a foodie. My hubby had pear & chocolate sorbet & chocolate peanut butter ice cream. Both had great flavor too. In fact the chocolate sorbet was wonderful because it had a more intense flavor & kudos on the on & chocolate because they are mixed together & not a pb ribbon running through. Definitely a go-to place for us when we are in the mood & area for ice cream & sorbet. Come check it out...you will definitely have...

I’m confused and hoping for a response. We have been here several times, in the evening, but during the listed business hours. Once the employees were inside but wouldn’t acknowledge my existence. Another time they were inside but wouldn’t come to the door to answer when they are open. Today, Sunday at 11:40ish I called and got no answer. I called again and someone picked up and just said “WE’RE CLOSED.” And hung up on me. I get not opening the door for a random person after dark but the phone situation is too much. Never made it to the ice cream. I'm sure it's good. I walked in and saw the Bump & Grind sign. I asked if I got the right door. The guy said rather glumly that he sells ice cream. I said okay. My daughter wanted blueberry in a cup. He gets a medium coffee cup. No problem, supplies are short. I see he's putting ice cream in 2 cups. I interrupted and said oh no, blueberry is just for her I see 2 cups. He glumly and rather annoyed this time says I understand that. I had been trying to be nice because I have been in customer service. I get it. I'm probably the 10th person with the same questions. But I just said never mind, cancel the order. I walked out. I will not spend 1 cent in a place where I feel like a bother for trying to spend...
