We arrived at Frank's Pizza at 836 pm. Realizing it was only an hour until they closed, we ordered quickly just before 840 pm. Our drinks arrived rather quickly, but we were not attended to by any staff for the next 45 minutes. At 925 pm, a server came back and asked if we needed any refills. We said we were okay, but inquired how much longer it would be before our pizza was ready. She said, it should be done in a minute or so. She went in the back and checked and returned to out table explaining that the pizza had been given away on a carry out order. She then said they are going to remake it but it will take another 15-20 minutes. She did ask of we wanted an appetizer, but no mention of compensation for the long wait, major mistake or even a simple apology for the huge inconvenience of waiting nearly an hour without attention or consideration. We opted to leave and said, no we are just going some where else and still no apology. As a frequent traveler and many experiences dining out, this by far is one of the worst if not the worst customer service experience I have had. Staff was not friendly, not attentive and while mistakes happen, not owning those mistakes and extending consideration to the customers needs leads to a terrible dining experience. Will never attempt to dine here again and will tell my friends and family to...
Read moreJust ok, nothing special.
New to the quad city's area from MSP and my coworker's HIGHLY recommended Frank's as there go to pizza joint.
Was told to order the sausage pizza. I will say they offer VERY generous portions because a small pizza easily filled me up and was $15 for a small pizza so maybe a bit pricey but again portions were generous.
Overall the pizza was just ok and I would compare it to a Chuck-E-Cheese Pizza. Nothing special and I probably won't order from them again however I'm glad I at least tried it.
Parking was a bit tight on the road and the side streets, establishment is very old however service was very prompt and staff was super friendly and helpful. I will say the pizza ingredients were very fresh but not high quality and way WAY TOO MUCH cheese for my liking. Lastly, very minimal sauce however the crust was pretty good and was my favorite part...
Read moreFrom my wife: My family is from the quad cities and my favorite aunt lives about 10 minutes from Frank’s. I grew up eating sausage and mushroom pizza since before I had teeth to chew. I moved away from the QC, but come back frequently to visit family. Anytime we’re home, we have to stop and get Frank’s. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I CRAVED it. My dad drove a take and bake pizza 3 hours to Milwaukee to help with my crazy pregnant craving. Let me tell you, when I took that first bite the angels started to sing and I started to cry it was so good. After my daughter was born, she couldn’t tolerate dairy, so I had to go dairy free for 15 months. Friday night, I had my first slice of Frank’s pizza since she was born and I think I ate about 12 slices. Frank’s will always taste like home and remind me of the good times...
