We had a very nice lunch on an early Spring Tuesday. It is a huge place with two dining rooms in addition to a very large bar room that seats about 25 at the bar and another 12 at two tables. There are many big screen TV s. I believe the name refers to having 22 craft beers on tap. The food menu is large, with big burgers, tenderloins, and other sandwiches served with a choice of side dish for about $11. There are daily lunch specials, with Tuesdays being Tenderloins-- grilled or deep fried for $8.00. Our (coke products) fountain drinks were $2.25 and had free refills. We had one of each type of tenderloin, and they were tasty and very large. I particularly liked the grilled tenderloin. It was well seasoned and dark mustard and mayo was available also. For my side I tried the side winder seasoned potato slices-- very tasty. It was busy (about 30 to 40 cars in the lot) but there was no problem getting a seat and there were several efficient waitresses. We sat at the bar: the bartender was friendly and efficient also. Even though busy, our food was out within about 20 minutes or less. I believe the bartender said they have happy hour pricing 3-6 and after 9 pm, with drink specials and 1/2 priced apps. We had a nice time: the lunch crowd included a large variety of ages, and the jukebox and tv's were not too loud to easily have a conversation. We will return. Update: I stopped in a few weeks later on a Monday at about 11:20, and again ate lunch. Very few customers were there, and most appeared to already have their food. The male bartender was busy cleaning and prepping the bar. I sat at the bar and he took my order for the Monday special (a Tap 22 hamburger and a side for $6.00). A couple of women came in about 10 minutes after me and were served their meal (tacos) well before me. My burger came out between 20 and 25 minutes after ordering. The thick burger was still hot inside, but the thick seasoned fries and bun were barely warm. I didn't ask, but I suspect that maybe it was cooked and then over looked for a time. My glass of pop was also empty for quite a while before I got the bartender's attention ( he had left the room for a time) and he didn't look in my direction often. The price was $2.75 for the pop (maybe I was mistaken the first visit), which is getting somewhat expensive for standard fountain-Coke products. Anyway, a less impressive visit the second time around, so I'm reducing it to four stars and I'll hope for a better visit the next time.

ABYSMAL SERVICE! Sad, because Tap 22 came highly recommended to me. Apparently, our server was a normally a bartender rather than a server. Some of the slowest and least attentive service I have ever experienced. And worst of all, our server seem to blame everyone other than herself, which is a cardinal sin in my book. Took forever to get my first beer, even longer to get my second. Apparently, the server forgot I had ordered it and blamed the bartender for being new, despite the fact that my beer was sitting on the bar. I wanted to get a third beer, but gave up as I'm not that much of a glutton for punishment. I had the sloppy joe grilled cheese sandwich, which was decent but I didn't find rose above the level of homemade sloppy joe. The breaded corn appetizer was pretty good. Definitely a bit of a dive, where very few of the chairs match, several of the TVs where so blurry that they look like they were supposed to be 3D, and several more of the TVs were just sitting at the menu. Certainly not a place I would be inclined to go to again.

Never been here before. We found it online just looking for something different. Boy did we find it!! Our waitress was fantastic! She made sure our tea never ran out and we didn't have dirty dishes on our table very long. Their cheese logs are huge!! The breading tasted very good, like an Italian bread crumb breading. How they got all the cheese melty in the middle without burning it or having cheese ozzing out the side is beyond me. My son got the chicken strips. He got 6 of them. Normally you get the little amount and he's always hungry after. He brought food home. They were big too. My son described them as, "KFC-ish. 2 thumbs up" I got their pork tenderloin. Nice and meaty, not pounded too thin. Breading had a little big of a kick to it. We are definitely coming back. We want to try their burgers next....

I was hoping this place was different. But, just like many of the establishments we have ventured into, it's the same experience. I gave this place chance #2. I took my family that came in from Indiana for a good burger and some wings. Needless to say, I disappointed and slightly embarrassed. First off, the wait staff is not organized or they are poorly trained. The wait to get someone to just take your drink order; then to get your drink, is about 20 min. So, your first 20 min in a new restaurant, waiting for the waiter to even approach your table is mind boggling. We had children with us, so that was an awful wait for them. There is no sense of urgency anymore, anywhere, it just floors me. The management or owners either set their staff up for failure because they lack customer service knowledge, they don't care, or they themselves do not participate in the day to day workings. It seems to be a huge issue across the board at all restaurants. Next, after we placed our food order, we froze during the ridiculously long wait for 3 sandwiches, some fries and Mac & Cheese. The back room, was terribly cold. The lounge seemed cozy tho! When our food out, it came at different times. Thank god the kids food came first. My food came out then too, so I waited for my family to get their plates, so as not to be rude. We were all starving by this time. When they finally got their food, my sandwich and fries had gone cold, and all of our orders were incorrect to boot. ....Cold, wrong, food.... It took forever to get it semi corrected, but it was pointless, the food was cold. My sandwich was over fried too, so it was really dry and crunchy. I imagine it may have tasted good if it weren't cold. Our waiter seemed frazzled, didn't check on us much or our drinks. Not a manager, nor the waiter offered to comp a single thing. How can your food shine, when your service is not good? You cant send out sub par food, and expect customers to...

The waitress was great but when looking at the bill I saw that there was charges for an additional side in full. Confused I asked the waitress to breakdown the bill because I asked for an upgrade on the side. Multiple people at my table did the same and we were all charged full price. The waitress explained that's how their system prints the bill. I asked to speak with the manager to get a better understanding of the bill.

The manager came up to the table with an attitude and pointed to the menu in hand stating that the sandwich I ordered came with certain sides and since I ordered a different side that I pay the additional fee of the side on top of the meal price (that comes with a side that wasn't offered.)

My general understanding from how most restaurants operate is if you upgrade a side, you pay the difference and not a full price of item as if it was ordered alone. The waitress didn't explain that while ordering. When I explained this, the manager told us that the meal comes with certain sides and it was up to me to tell the waitress the side, plus the side I actually wanted.

So what I got was a sandwich that was missing a side and to pay for another side that I wanted...doesn't make sense. The manager followed this with asking if I could read and motioned to the menu.

If upgrading to another side isn't allowed it should be listed on the menu and staff should explain this.

I had no issues with the waitress-- it was obvious by the management that she wasn't trained fully.

I won't be coming back.

Not because of the food. Not because of the staff. Not because of the pricing. But because the way the manager handled answering customer questions regarding the bill and how she handled a simple misunderstanding and mistake. She was short tempered and lacks...
