Honestly, I have been sleeping on this place, and I will not be doing that anymore. This was hands down some of the best food I've had in a while, and the service was top notch. You get a vibe walking in that everyone loves the food, and it feels like a functional family gathering. The owner came up and was chatting with me, and he has every reason to be proud of what he has accomplished. I asked him about the receipt hung up behind the cash register, and we discussed the rising costs in goods and services. This was my first time coming. Wanted to try them because I just moved next door to the lux. And I love Hispanic food! Upon entry I was told someone would be with me. In fact no one got with me. Instead they got with the guy that came in after me. Then my order was completely wrong. I ordered 3 chicken tacos and two fried jalapeño peppers. They only prepared one of the peppers. Had to wait for the other. Then I only got two of my tacos. No I was not charged for the third. Then for the food to not be flavorful. My fried peppers were soaking in grease.
