Stopped in for lunch last week after our gym friends told us it was open. We tried pork mentaiko ramen, Dan Dan ramen, and pork gyoza. Gyoza were juicy and delicious, crispy on the bottom, chewy on the top. Perfect filling to wrapper ratio and the pork filling was nicely seasoned. We both enjoyed our ramen. 4 big pieces of homemade chashu and the mentaiko added a nice flavor to the tonkotsu. Dan Dan was not very spicy so may have to add in spice to get the kick, but it tasted good. Both portions were perfect, definitely enough noodles. The seating layout is awkward. There are not many tables for 4 inside in the back, 2 tables for 2 and then a line of counter seats facing the wall behind a really large and wide high top table with 6 chairs around it which is right in front of the entry door. It's all close together. The high top table isn't bad but if you sit there with your party, the width separates you from your party across from you. It's a small space so they had to make do and you're really not there to linger, but if you like privacy, the seating layout doesn't foster that. I can't imagine what it must be like when it's crowded. For the food alone, we will...

The food is good. Quite good, actually. The menu covers the ramen / Japanese staples, but with the addition of some more authentic comfort foods (but less common in the US) like Curry and Gyudon. Everything I've tried is well seasoned, well crafted, and delicious. The chefs clearly have vision and knowledge.
Now I must mention that this does not extend to the front of house staff. They're polite and friendly, but clearly do not share the vision of the chefs. We ordered the "Spam Egg Onigiri", as described on the menu. As it arrived, I would describe it as a "Spam Egg Musubi", but that's pedantry. However, our server presented it and said "Here's your Spam Egg... Thingy". Hilarious, but probably not what Moneykey is going for.
Also, they only provide cocktail napkins... Come on, this is a ramen shop. Ramen is wet and messy.
But still, the food and vision, especially in this location, makes it worth the trip. You will have a...
