Marshalls — Local services in Simi Valley

First I must say this review is for this Marshalls in Simi Towne Center ONLY.

This store is always a mess. Numerous times I’ve had to avoid tripping over things on the floor and I’m not talking about merchandise sloppy customers left on the floor, there are pieces of racks down, merchandise to be stocked in boxes all over, all the time.

I must say the employees are very pleasant and nice and I brought this fact up to one employee and she told me just the past week a woman tripped and told them she’d be suing them.

I blame management and if I ever see a manager there which I haven’t asked for but never seen, I’ll bring up my dissatisfaction with this specific store.

I stopped in to Marshall's after eating at the nearby Larsen's Grill when I needed to walk off dessert and a few glasses of wine. I didn't buy anything, but I did go up and down all the aisles. This place has tons of different things for sale. Everything from clothes to cookware to bathroom stuff to random knick-knacks to pet toys to who knows what. I saw people shopping, who had carts of things, so I know that people buy all kinds of random stuff from here. And I suppose I would buy some of it if it was close by to me and I was in need of something. But it's not and I didn't, so I left empty handed after browsing.

While the staff is friendly and I can find great items I will NEVER shop here again. I don't know what this store manager or corporate is thinking but the constant push for the store credit card is ridiculous. I am so sick of saying no to their 34% APR card only to have the person at check out ask me 3 more times and explain the "benefits". No is a full sentence. A 2 minute transaction takes 15 minutes of saying no and holds up the line. It started a couple months ago and has only gotten worse. Don't shop here if you don't want to constantly be harassed about why you don't want a predatory...
