Panda Express — Restaurant in Simi Valley

Absolutely rude. Ordered 3 meals and a kid's meal. The kid's meal had honey walnut shrimp as the item. The employee put just a few shrimp. When I asked for more, she said it comes with 4 and I gave you 5 with a negative rude tone. What happened to friendly service? Also chow mein ran out so I had to wait since one of my meals was missing it. She boxed my stuff and I asked is my chow mein in the last meal? She said yes again with a rude tone. Got home and it was missing! There are numerous food places near this establishment. Definitely bringing my business elsewhere with friendly employees that get the order right. This Panda Express location in Simi Valley has completely ruined all other Panda locations for me—in the best way possible! Their orange chicken is consistently perfect crispy, flavorful, and just the right balance of sweet and tangy.

I don’t know what kind of magic their kitchen team is working with, but they nail it every single time. I travel for work and all the pandas in other cities and even other states, end up leaving me disappointed because no other location gets it quite like this one.

Everywhere else, it’s either soggy or bland, but not here!!! This place has officially spoiled me! If you’re an orange chicken lover, this is the gold standard.

I feel like this needs to be addressed in customer service training. If a family of 4 getting premium meals and spends on a transaction 54.97 then you make the change available for a 100 dollar bill. My husband and I had a refusal for 45 dollars given in change. The manager refused to give us the change and refused the sale. She even remarked “Well are you gonna come back with change” ummm no why would we waste our time leaving to come back when you had the money….
